Good point. Should Avenatti identify as a women and categorise the alleged event as simply a bitch fight?

@rembrandt I saw a lot of his show when it was Cumia's network (even way back when it was broadcast from Cumia's basement bar). The group thing was a silly goof on the effeminate producer. Then it morphed into an anti-antifa satire.. which plenty of people started taking too seriously (his 'followers', media, law enforcement)
The tactical error he made was joking about having scuffles. That made him too easy to demonise and attracted some genuine idiotsI expect he'll get pushed out from CRTV soon. A guy like Mark Levin won't enjoy being associated with him. So that might be a good thing - hyper political, PG McInnes is repetitive and dull

Nice to see the tear gas being deployed on those trying to rush the border.
Perhaps rubber bullets next.An agreement with the incoming Mexican govt. that these people must stay in Mexico while waiting for their asylum application would be a major breakthrough.
-
@frank It’s being reported that Mexico is going to deport the 500 marchers who broke through the barriers. Not sure how that will work in practice.
But I they push them back to Guatemala on the basis that they could have sought asylum there, doesn’t that consolidate the US position that asylum should be sought from the first country they entered?

I wonder what the general sentiment is in the states about this caravan. Not the sjw retards hyped up by the sjw media but I wonder what the average person feels. If Trump can hold the line and not lose support this could be a good thing for immigration control everywhere.
-
@rembrandt You know Rembrandt, we've reached a stage where we will never know I reckon.
The media bias from both sides won't reveal it and I'm not even sure how to access a reliable polling organisation. It forever feels like we're flying blind on authentic information ☹
I'd love to be wrong

Live in Canada but have enough to do with people in the rust belt states to have an idea (I hope). And it's worth noting to a similar extent Canada has a relatively new flood of migrants from the US crossing at land borders so it's topical here too.
As best I can tell those who feel Trump is taking a step to close the door on the southern border permanently seem to view it as a regrettable, but necessary step to restoring sovereignty.
Those who see it as political opportunism from Trump that these migrants are caught up in see it as pretty shitty if just due to timing.
It probably falls along the same lines as view on removing illegal migrants 20/25 years after arrival.
