My mate is up watching his bro (Tony Fabling) play in the National Lawn Bowls.
Tony made the semi final and was up against the World Champion. It's first to 21 and he was 1-15 down! The most remarkable comeback to win with his last ball, a real tight draw to win 21-20!!

An old dude I see regularly at the gym is a late starter to bowls but is already playing in the top grades. I was suspicious of his claims, but some other old dudes confirmed this. He also claims that a surprising number of players are snorting coke. Apparently it helps their performance....

Most likely off a toilet seat unfortunately. This guy has stopped drinking, but said that it has negatively affected his game 😂.

Yeah it’s up there with darts as the greatest of drinking sports . We had a set of miniature bowls and used to back out the cars and roll out the some fake turf to turn the garage into a green for the Xmas holidays. We used to have drinking/bowls sessions till all hours of the night .
As a bonus Xmas was usually the time of year that huhu bugs decided to suicide themselves into the garage lightbulbs which meant the womenfolk didn’t want to hang out in the garage after dark.Back to the op that’s an epic comeback

I'm convinced drinking from the cistern is also going to have a negative effect on your game....
