I'll just continue talking to myself....

last 10 overs have gone for 50. The boys sure aren't there to fuck spiders and they're looking good....

...according to the match tracker at least.

"Taking Tamim out of the picture, it seems hard to believe Bangladesh only managed 108/9 on this wicket, it just looks so easy out there."

Zero chance Raval will get 100. Nervous 90s will

Latham only 12 away from 3000 test runs.

Raval only 49 away from a maiden ton, 47 away from 1000 year runs.

carn the lads!!! big partnership here !!!!

    tick, tick and tick....

this is my greatest fern prediction since the Tua/Cameron fight in 09. I'll predict something else in 2029.

@MN5 would have been a go-to question in pub sports quizzes aye!!

But well done Jeet, really stoked he's got past that hurdle.

Found this - Jeets would have been top 10 if he'd kept it up šŸ™‚

Edit: OK, top 10 if his stats went to ODI. Top 20 for tests ...

    both openers get tons.

when was the last time this happened ?

back when Glenn Turner and that other bloke got a massive partnership in the 70s?

And then Styris came out at three to also score a ton and Craig McMillan added one at 5 or 6. Between them scored 18 career centuries.

it's funny. You look at team and it was pretty solid but which of those guys would make a combined XI with today's team ?

Vettori ahead of Astle....Rigor would probably get in ahead of Raval.

    no others though.

It was in that odd period where Robbie Hart was our number one test keeper, just after Parore retired. I can't remember who followed him but I feel like we were unsettled for a while until Baz took over.

Scorecard for anyone else interested. http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/15145/scorecard/64047/india-vs-new-zealand-2nd-test-new-zealand-tour-of-india-2003-04
