Although, weren't those games a direct result of the earthquake, if the earthquake didn't happen they wouldn't have been organised?
Yeah you’re right. I still don’t agree with it. didn’t have to go to Napier. Nelson is still a home game.
I think the first Fiji game against the chiefs was also a home game for us too.

Did the CEO discuss it back in the day? Maybe Nelson was unavailable or they weren't confident of getting a crowd for multiple games? It does seem odd, but then again any home game somewhere else is odd - the Warriors haven't played Manly at Brookvale in years.

Pretty sure they said it was for financial reasons.... I think playing the chiefs made it worse for me, it was basically a home crowd for them and if I recall correctly we lost pretty comprehensively

The two changes in the backline from the side that took the field against the Blues last Saturday night see Bryn Hall and George Bridge move to the bench, making way for Drummond and Ennor to start this game. "While this is a Chiefs home game, we are fortunate to have plenty of support in Suva, and look forward to the opportunity to connect with Crusaders fans over the next few days. Watching the buildup I can't help but think how magnificent it would be if the Hurricanes were invited to play someone in a Super Rugby game up in Suva's Laucala Bay. After seeing all the kids so happy makes me really think how great it would be for me to be able to take my yaca (namesake) who lives in one of the villages just outside Nadi to the game.
