Funnily enough, Kane seems to be the most popular of all the big 3 (Root steadily working his way outside that group) across all fanbases - so I'd hazard he'd be a lot safer than the others from that sort of thing. I mean I've never seen anything like that for a New Zealand cricketer overseas before

Yeah, Kane does seem to be popular. Agreed about Root. Kohli has a massive population to draw from as fans, and I quite like him. Aussies don't seem to from the series a few years ago.
I wasn't entirely serious about him eating the cake, but I guess, one nut job?
I have also been to Sri Lanka many times - I am careful what I eat.1995 All Blacks deliberately poisoned, or just sick? I may be paranoid but it doesn't mean that they aren't out to get us. Kidding.
