England have never chased down more than 350 to win a test.

They'll have to set a record to do it.
It's good that Archer isn't afraid to go short to the Aussie tail. They, of course, don't give a fuck about intimidation, knowing the best intimidation is to get England out for under 200.
England fielding has been woeful. Overthrows, misfields, dropped catches.

@NTA whilst I do believe it is a fait accompli ( it's easy to get romantic about test chases even though the overwhelming odds state that 300 is way too much),
I did get in early in the slim hope that the fat singing wench is preoccupied with the buffet and misses her cue! 😉
if only to keep the series alive...

@NTA England chased down 359 to win earlier this summer, albeit in the 50 over format:

Two early wickets after lunch. Roy and Burn both gone. Can any of the England batsman score more than 12 in this innings?
-
England 90-2 at tea. Still need 269 more runs.
-
England's afternoon: 156-3 at the close. Root still there on 75.
A long way to go especially with the new ball due in 8 overs but they have given themselves and their supporters hope.

England fairly streaky in getting to the close with only 3 wickets down although they were probably due that after every mistake causing a wicket in the 1st innings. Still unlikely to make not least because most chases that look good at the end of one day often crumble in the morning and Headingley is well known as being a 3rd session place to bat.
