Also how fit is Titsoff, that man got through some minutes.

He's a ginger, so not technically human

He looks like a ginger brock Lesnar

I will read the comments shortly but this was an enjoyable game to watch, even if Garces is a complete lottery with his penalties and officiating at the breakdown.

I watched this on tv1 to try and get some value out of my tax dollars, big mistake . They had Anika Moa on in the build up to the match . Despite having the physique of a front rower she knows fuck all about the game . My mrs agreed they put her on just to fuck me off .

The game itself was great I thought , we were slow to start again though.

Any thoughts on Rassie's post-game comments about the ref and AB discipline? I'd like to think he was being genuine and complimentary but I'm not so sure after the pre-match verbal mind games.

It's not just Kearns. Most of the neutrals on twitter (see the replies to BOD's tweet on Garces) are losing their shit about how much the ref favoured us. The mass delusion is really something to behold. It's like they only watch the calls that favour us.

I guess they didn't notice the way Faf spent most of his time offside in our backline then. Must be the hair

@Billy-Tell Oh yes we should mention Shag, have to give the man some credit when itโ€™s due.

Donโ€™t deserve any credit. They clearly canโ€™t read the crystal ball that some on here seem to have to see what is required to win the Cup.

And how selfish of them to serve us up that rubbish.

@booboo flushing the dunny is from a shit performance, that was not shit, was not even average. It was good, awesome in places, they'll build like last time. Happy with that game, tested, not found wanting.

You won't see a better performance by any team in the opening round, I'd put money on that.

Switch the teams and all the "neutrals" would be tearing their hair out.

But no point giving them attention , it only validates their opinion.

I enjoy seeing clowns like that thrashwanking about refs favouring us . Especially after the 2007 rwc .

I think when it comes to the all blacks there arenโ€™t many neutral fans , we need a better word for these arseclowns

Will reply with more tomorrow, but thank fuck for that.

We were sitting behind the goalposts and due to the shit cell phone service, I couldnโ€™t catch up with @Smuts (sorry!)

Nevertheless, a fascinating game to watch from the the nosebleeds - SA going up the middle through Faf kicks - some of which were really not dealt with well, versus us trying to go around them (mostly without success) unless we had first softened them up in the middle of the park.

The first twenty were very scary. Incredible defense, but fuck these Boks know what they are trying to achieve. The game plan is so 2009, itโ€™s not funny. Given the wingers we picked, I understand why they went that way - tonight our bomb squad was really fucking average. We nail that and they would have had not much else...

It was really interesting to be able to predict when our kicks would work or not - there is lots of โ€˜fakeโ€™ space out there - some were awesome, but some were just kicking it back to them - why? Shit chasing too, in some instances.

Overall, a very good win against a well-drilled side who I expect to go deep. Thank god for one good kick and ALBโ€™s quick feet.

Some class by Ardie at the end there. Were they praying together or was it commiserations?
