    A Quiet Place

Anything with Emily Blunt in it is worth watching. This is a good and reasonably unique take on the horror suspense genre.

But my favourite bit is the kid getting killed on day 89 for not doing as he was told.

6 Underground - Ryan Reynolds and other peoples (most notable Adria Arjona and MĂŠlanie Laurent)

Decent action flick, with a 15 min car chase scene to open.

3.5 Lime green Alfa Romeos out of 5 sinking super yachts

The Informer - pretty solid cast leading this; Joel Kinneman, CLive Owen, Common, Rosamund Pike and Ana de Armas

KInneman is a Polish American ex-con working undercover for the FBI, who screw him over when they get him put back in Prison to take down a Polish mobster.

    Pretty decent action/crime film.

3.5 Polish thugs out of 5 shivs

Am sure @Nepia will be torn as I think he has a dislike of Owen, but a love for de Armas 😉

@antipodean I see a 2nd Quiet place is being or has been made....not sure how that will go.

DreamWorks "Screwed Up": Why Cult Classic 'Galaxy Quest' Wasn't a Bigger Hit

Twenty years after the meta sci-fi movie hit theaters, director Dean Parisot and stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Justin Long look back at censored scenes, and reveal the apology Jeffrey Katzenberg issued over the film's lackluster marketing: "They didn’t seem particularly interested in what we were doing." DreamWorks “Screwed Up”: Why Cult Classic ‘Galaxy Quest’ Wasn’t a Bigger Hit

Twenty years after 'Galaxy Quest' hit theaters, director Dean Parisot and stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Justin Long look back at capturing lightning in a bottle, and reveal the apology Jeffrey Katzenberg issued over the film's bungled marketing campaign.

Saw it on the big screen when it was released twice. Was dragged to it the first time; I liked it so much I dragged some friends to see it again. It really is a delightful little film.

@taniwharugby same writers and director. The prequel bits look excellent.

@taniwharugby It's crazy confusing for me, I'm not fussed either way by Kinnerman but don't like Pike as an actor, but do like Common as an actor.

I reckon Ana de Armas is enough to make it watchable.

Watched Jumanji 2, good fun like the first one, loses a mark for putting Karen Gillan in long pants for the second half of the movie ... if she wasn't so pale she'd almost be the perfect woman. Kevin Hart was great kind of playing against type by not being he motormouth.

Marriage Story, this was a good film, but I don't think I enjoyed watching it. Has Scar Jo and Kylo Ren playing a couple breaking up.

I also rewatched the prequel trilogy and the Clone Wars movie over Xmas, but I need some resting time before I write a novel on my thoughts about them.

"Look around you… can you fashion some sort of rudimentary lathe?" Best line in the movie.

My brothers, sisters-in-law and cousins better not find I was ever on that list...

Movies that have kids that put others in mortal harm has always irritated me. Nice to see one get what was deserved.

@antipodean I know what you mean. I am actually likely to switch to another movie if a child is introduced for tension purposes in a horror or thriller.

Yeah a classic. That article though, "stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Justin Long " Justin Long. Not Alan Rickman. FFS.

Started watching the classic 1959 western Warlock. DeForest Kelley, aka Doc McCoy from Star Trek, is one of the main villains. Serious cognitive dissonance!

Just watched it and it's easily the best Star Trek movie I've seen.

I realise that 😞 I meant the tag line "starring XYZ" and Rickman is not on that list but Justin Long (best know for being the nerd in Dodgeball) is.....

he's not of the same level as Rcikman or Weaver.
