Some may remember a post from a couple of years back, where I talked about the first porno I ever watched, and it's awesome soundtrack
Yesterday I found out this movie is on PornHub
Of course I watched it. It was made in 1980. It's all muff and moustache. It is an actual movie, with a plot and everything.
Vintage porn rules.
The actors had much better names back then too

Week 2 of this lockdown had definitely been the hardest, fair to say people’s nerves are a bit frayed and fighting off cabin fever is getting harder every day.
Can imagine those living alone or in a new living arrangement might be finding it harder then others.
If you know someone in that situation please keep an eye on them say hi ( as we are doing with my oldest daughter who only just moved into a new flat 2 weeks before the lockdown and is finding it tough).
There’s an abundance of good feeling here and speaking for myself I appreciate how we are looking out for each other. Let’s keep it up -

@Virgil wow virg, are your kids grown up almost. I think I can remember when they were born on the fern. Am I imagining things? God knows we're getting fucking old!😄
I have a grown up daughter from a previous relationship and have 2 daughters who are 7 and 9 with my wife.

Got absolutely wankered last night. Hungover as shit today
I just started drinking again
I can't imagine my mental state if the racing wasn't on
-
@mariner4life I'm basically into it from 3pm these days. Start on the balcony, move into the kitchen dinner, then balcony.
This lockdown better finish in 10 days or my liver is fcked

I've decided to consume a case of Corona tonight in an attempt to build up immunity. I shall report in tomorrow on the ill effects, if any.

I had three beers - which for me these days is "drunk". We were on a video call with some friends we've not seen in a while. Mrs TA had a few scotches but I got zero.
This lock-in is fucking bullshit. If she's not bored and drunk enough to do it now, then FFS WHEN???

no workout for me, but spent over 2 hours cutting/hacking at flaxes in mid-20 heat this morning, sweating buckets, consumed 3l of water while doing it too.
About half done, but have encountered a potential issue...
a nest of unknown size, just a decent number of these flying about
-
Think I need to wife you all for a moment and remind you to watch your drinking!
Two weeks drinking is a holiday, three is getting unhealthy... -

We were in a state enough to do it at 7.30 last night with the kids knocking on the door "go away!!!"
Such responsible parenting

"Please Sir, can I have some more abstinence?"

Two weeks drinking is a holiday, three is getting unhealthy...I've had a total of about 6 beers since starting work from home a few weeks back. Considering I might have one a week during rugby season, this is a cakewalk.
Though I've probably also had a couple of scotches, some wine, and a thimbleful of brandy I found in the pantry.
And a cheeky little Bortrytis post-dinner.
Fuck and the biggest dejavu right now.

Well, happy Easter everyone. Hope you're all spoiling your kids and yourself with chocolate or whatever your tipple is.
11 days to go of this, hard to imagine waking up another 11 times to realise there is nothing to do today.
All in all, it's still going ok here. The old lady in PN is hanging in there, def feeling the mental effect of iso given she is on her own, but health-wise is relatively good.
What would be nice would be some indication of what the scenarios look like for coming out of this lockdown. When you look at the official alert info, it's just so vague, deliberately I know. But if we get through 11 more days, only to be told that we can go to L3, and that all that actually means is a few more shops being able to deliver stuff, that's going to be pretty hard to take for a lot of people.
Equally, if they Government extends this, I think we could really start to see some pushback, especially if the numbers stay as they are. To get within 2 days, then to be told you have another week added, would be devastating.

Had afternoon drinks on Zoom with a bunch of my Kiwi mates yesterday, which denigrated into our usual drinking sessions of rehashing every stupid thing or funny story about our group. Was fun. One of them actually started a new job on Monday, which is a bit surreal. Made holiday plans for when we can all travel again, whenever that is.
Tried to get some decent Easter Eggs from K Mart yesterday but they were sold out of all the good shit, they were also sold out of muffin tins and potato mashers so I'll have to put off my @Hooroo inspired cooking for another week. Always forget that Oz doesn't shut down for Easter Friday/Sunday (except for Woolies) so the usual takeaway places were all opening up on my morning walk today.
