How's that for a tabloid headline, beating it up ever so slightly?

I'd never heard of Griffiths. Anyone shed any more light on him?

All we heard of was Louis Luyt - which as I think he was the elected head that's fair and proper.

But given many Saffers deny there was poisoning it's worth publicising an admission that it did happen, even if he denies the extent.

Bringing up Suzie or the underarm never gets old.

    Stuff

I think the fact many were ill is un deniable, it's the 'conspiracy' as to SARUs involvement that has always been up for debate.

But it makes a better story to involve Suzie!

It's so good that after 25 years we've come to a definitive conclusion on what really happened and every party goes away satisfied.

@MN5 I see another party I've not been invited to. Typical.

Hope you don't mean the thread title. That was my little dig at the news media.

This was the All Blacks ‘flu game’, except we just fell short of the right result.

@MN5 I suspect this will go on for years, man I’m still trying to convince the Welsh that Bob Deans scored.

Me too, and I'm married to a Welsh girl whose father had a trial for Wales. They just won't bloody listen.

We still hear of these books being published by various individuals. One statement was from Nelson Mandela's former bodyguard that a betting syndicate was responsible. If a syndicate was responsible then the ABs wouldn't have been able to walk.If any of you have had food
poisoning believe me you can hardly walk.

That would have defeated the purpose (if they were deliberately poisoned) if they couldn't walk. They had to play the game. Debilitating is way better. Maybe that was successful plan?

I've had food poisoning a few times. Running to the toilet was a regular event, either to unswallow or avoid shitting my pants.

So, yes you can walk with food poisoning.

Actually you’re wrong and he’s right. I have had food poisoning a couple of times and witnessed it more. In all cases walking was not on the cards. Fuck me though, you can run bloody fast.

Fair enough, my point was about the running.

Yeah well you know what it’s like on here sometimes. If you’re not exact, some pedant will rush in and correct you.

And it’s pronounced p’dant by the way.
