R.I.P. 2020

RIP Aaron Tokona. Made some amazing music, was so gutted when Weta broke up back in the day. Geographica is a stone cold banger of an album.

@Paekakboyz I grew up with his family. He was ahead of me in high school. His two younger brother Tuma & Clint were basically my age. Clint was also in Weta. His family are all lovely people no one could say a bad word about.
I remember when I first got to college and he played a guitar solo in assembly. I thought he was the coolest person I'd ever seen. I didn't realise kids could sound that good with musical instruments. Like as good as anything on RTR Countdown.
Its too young, 45. This one hurts.

@raznomore totally bro, so many stories about him being a lovely guy with oodles of talent. I really liked how he steered his own course music-wise. But wished Weta hung around a bit longer.

It’s like watching Todd Rundgren if he became about 100% more rapey
You mean Dolph Lundgren, altho at least she's 24 not 16....
Dolph you old legend !
What’s wrong with that ?

Carl Reiner gone at 98.
The quartet of movies he did with Steve Martin in the 80's were fantastic.
Lots of tributes online, but I really liked this thread from twitter
