Ben Cross
Some will remember him from Star Trek and Banshee, but this was his most famous role.
Harold Abrahams.
Who is most famous in NZ for his commentary on the 1936 1500m final...
Lovelock leads! .. Lovelock Lovelock... Jack come on! ... Come on Jack! ... My god he's done it ... etc
Same guy (well Abrahams, not Cross)
Which I always found amazing

Dame Diana Rigg.
Outstanding actress, genuinely classy lady and as sexy as hell as Emma Peel in The Avengers.
-
@Victor-Meldrew yes devastating to wake up to learn Emma Peel's arse has been taken from the world. Fortunately it lives on in the celluloid world.
A classically trained actress with an outstanding body of work. Able to excel in a broad variety of roles. Intelligent, sassy - one for the ages.

Only woman who ever married James Bond as well. On her Majesty’s Secret Service was one of the best ever and she was a massive part of that.
Bloody good in GOT as whats her name Tyrell as well.
RIP Tracy

She appeared naked in Abelard and Heloise on stage in the 70's. A critic famously described her as "built like a brick mausoleum with insufficient flying buttresses".
Her response? She published a best-selling collection of caustic theatre reviews called "No Turn Unstoned" and dedicated it to said critic.
Class to burn

@Bovidae He used to cop a bit of tall poppy shit but he was also instrumental in Jonah's early days of steering him onto the good track.
Has done a massive amount of work for CM too so gets my gratitude for that.
RIP Phil.BTW his jokes were terrible

@MN5 Those other 3 movies are well worth watching.
Lonsdale was the oldest living Bond villain actor. Christopher Lee had that honour until he died.
Yeah he probably was given many of them were getting on when they made their movies in the 60s and 70s.
It’s Yaphet Kotto now I believe off the top of my head
EDIT: no, it’s Julian Glover, the man with the best franchise CV in history
