You can blame the officials for the last 3 plays by the Canes in the last couple of minutes..

Or coaches for selecting Prinsep? He’s involved in most of them...

This is getting ugly. Ardie might want to think twice before infringing like that again

More points on the back of terrible discipline by the Canes forwards. Just handing the Crusaders territory.

@steven-harris I know you can’t but that decision changed the momentum of the game. Bloody tugboat TMOs.

@gt12 not sure what they see in Princep..I would have started with Flanders, he’s a better athlete..Canes D is getting caught out especially on really quick ball

Intercept pass aside, Goodhue is showing he is still a classy centre. Some lovely subtle touches so far

@steven-harris Princep wouldn't make an Aussie SR team.

This Canes loose trio seems designed to help the Saders win the game. They are chasing turnovers and not matching with defensive stout. The whole team is just getting run over.

I know it gets said to death on here, but how do the Hurricanes expect to compete with that pack? Their 9-10 combo came under the spotlight but that's the least of their problems with the lightweight forward pack they're fielding atm.

@crazy-horse in these first 2 games I have actually been really impressed with Young Macleod at12 ..Goodhue has missed the odd tackle ,but has still got those classy touches

some terrible reffing decision have gone against the Canes. But even so the coaches need to have a serious look at their forward selections. As this is looking like a potential thrashing

Great watching a side where players just do the right thing. So clinical.

Liking the Crusader loosies too. Seem more effective than last year. Blackadder making a good impression and Grace doing what he does best in the lineouts. Good solid players.

They’d be much better beefing up a bit - Ardie has hardly been involved and Kirifi is busy but a bit ineffective, then there is Prinsep. That line out was a key chance which they fucked up.

I’m not sure what Flanders did wrong.

Blackadder has bulked up and it’s showing in his carries

He’s looked really good. I’m not sure they’re being challenged very strongly though - the match-up against the Blues will be fascinating.
