@mikethesnow I haven't but I won't let your criteria prevent me from answering:
- Once and it was the only year I got the flu.
- I will get it to engage in real life again.
-
@mikethesnow like @antipodean I'm also going to wade in:
- I get the flu jab every year cos work organises a nurse to come to the office - so it's free, convenient, and you get a lollipop
- I'll get the Covid jab for @Catogrande 's reasons, and also definitely cos I want to be able to travel. I'm really not concerned with catching the virus myself given good health and a great health system, but I wouldn't want to spread it to vulnerable folk

For those who've had the vaccine a couple of questions if I may
- Have you previously had the flu vaccine? If not, did you think it was unnecessary?
Didn't used to get flu vac as I thought it was unnecessary, but have had it annually for probably 10 years. Mainly as I don't want to get sick, and hopegully help avoiding spreading it. Not because I'm worried about dying.
- Did you get the vaccine because you were worried about contracting COVID-19 and becoming sick, possibly dying?
Or did you get it so if the government do mandate vaccine passports to engage in 'real life' you're all set?
Not sure that's all the options.
I got the jab mainly because it's my part in controlling the disease. The more of us jabbed the quicker we can ignore it (at least in principle).
Have no immediate intention to travel.
And yes, I'd prefer not to get the disease and die, and given my conditions raise my chances from very low to just a bit more than very low, so hopefully they're now extremely low. But in all honesty I was more about the overall picture.
-
@catogrande I don't count this as a #booboo

Oh that's awesome
Maybe I should proof read my posts?
That's a stunning lack of awareness from me.

I like it, taking it up a level really. It's not just putting their foot in it, they're having a fit.

@pakman it’s Britain. Clouded over snd temp dropped.
Oh well, red wine it is.
Bummer! Crack open a nice red or three!
-
"“We have only allowed India to become such a large pharmaceutical producer in the first place...”
Pretty much sums up the attitude in much of the EU which has seen it's share of world trade plummet in the last decade or so.
