Win or lose the Spurs, as usual have done a great job retooling on the fly, and set themselves up for a post-Duncan future

Strange watching them in a close game against a good opponent with Duncan and ginobli on the bench and parker only playing the very end.

And Parker was pretty poor last night. Mills was very effective running the two man game with Aldridge and West.

There was a great stat I read the other day about the Spurs, 10 guys average 14 minutes or more per game. That tells you that the whole squad buys into the system and checks the egos at the door. Having a massive season.

Golden State Warriors look like they'll fall short of the record of the 95/96 Chicago Bulls. Just lost to the Timberwolves to be 69-9.

I wonder if they are running out of gas. Interesting to see if the strain of the chase sees them come up short in the playoffs too. They will need to beat the Spurs (?) to get the record, which is doable if Pop carries out his threat to rest his best players

Jeez low scoring game! They don't deserve the record after that effort.

GSW just equalled the Bulls win record.... and broke the Spurs unbeaten home stand.

Pretty amazing.

For some reason I was hoping they wouldn't.

I thought they would drop the game but somehow Curry would not let it happen. He was big for them today.

Feel for Spurs who could've gone unbeaten at home for the whole season.

Final game against the Mavs to break the Bulls record. Mavs beat them earlier in the season, and are still playing to clinch a playoff spot, so who knows.

They are playing the Memphis Grizzlies I think.

Yeah considering their struggles in the last five or so games I was really surprised to see them get the win. Huge effort, especially coming off a very tight game at Memphis the night before.

Grizz have still got plenty to play for, with their chance of the 5 seed still alive. Then there is the weight of history. Won't be easy, even at home.

I reckon they will cruise against the Grizzlies.

I would not be shocked if they stutter in the play offs though. Just seems like they have been 'up' all season, and not holding anything back.

Having said that ..... all the experts have them as unbackable favourites... and my basketball knowledge is fuck all.

If I was Memphis I would prefer the 6th seed anyway.

Playing OKC then spurs is better than playing Clippers then GS.

But not by much...

Correct BSG, they are playing at home to the Grizzlies. They should get that win.

Mavs on the other hand need to win at least one of their last two and and they will be safe. Rockets and Jazz fighting for 8th.

All the playoff temas are settled with the Rockets winning today. Jazz needed the Rockets to lose heading into their final game against Kobe.

Curry goes for 20 in the 1st quarter. Already up 18 with 7 minutes to go in the half.

Kobe's last game today too.

I took the TAB oiption of Kobe to score more than 24 and the lakers to win (opened at $6.50 but since down to $4)

Worth a shot I reckon, Utah already eliminated from the playoffs with a Houston win, so nothing to play for and Kobe will be going out there to get more than 24

Kobe came out pretty aggressive in the first quarter. Very un-Kobe like to put up a heap of shots :)

He'll get the points as already on 21 but L.A Lakers, Fast Break Makers, Kings of the court shake and bake all makers, are 9 points adrift

Sad day to see Kobe go. Hes the last great of that era. I hated him for most of career but no denying his greatness.

Steph now has 46, and they haven't even started the 4th yet. What a way to lock in a second straight MVP award.
