@stargazer Looking at that Hurricanes lineup it must be almost certain longer term members of the squad like V Aso and V Fifita must be raising their middle fingers and shoving it right under J Hollands nose as they boot the door boot the door shut and heave their sweaty jock straps in his direction as they leave the final training run for the season. Quite obviously they must be considering heading overseas instead of staying here and getting paid something like $300,000.00 a season just to play at Premier Club level.

@higgins I think there was a rumour about Aso having signed in Japan, but I haven't heard anything about Fifita. Personally, I feel more sorry for Toala, who hasn't had any game time this season.

Man - our selections are brain dead. Every week I hope they won't make the same mistakes but nope, here we are again.

Roigard has been good off the bench so will be good to see him with Love.

My 15 for what it's worth:

    Numia
    Aumua/Coles
    Lomax
    IWL
    Scrafton
Flanders (he has been cramping a lot though I've noticed).
    A Savea
    Evans
    Roigard
    Love
    Rayasi
    Laumape
    PUJ
    Goosen
    Barrett

I thought Jordie had to be rested for ABs? Or is it because Canes will likely miss the final so can use that week as a rest week?

@kiwimurph Nothing from the ABs said these were 'manadatory rests', so I am not sure how mandatory they are. I think the press took a single line from Razor and decided it was policy

Only All Blacks need to be rested.

@foobanz I agree, that’s the best 15 we can put out. Too bad the coaches are holding this team back from reaching their potential. Morons.

Holland and the board that appointed him should all be shown the door. Who the hell rewards a guy who coaches us to the wooden spoon to a new contract?

@canefan it’s jobs for the boys at the Canes, they all seem so matey matey. The same faces have been around the Canes for years now so it’s no surprise that the likes of Jane gets an assistant role, and J Savea continues to start every week.

They need a clean out from the top, including the board who are just as bad IMO. Whether it happens or not is another question but I doubt we will see the preferred 15 for sometime yet.

We look to have hit rock bottom, but they seem intent on taking us deeper into the mire

@canefan there is so much talent in the squad but they seem to be hell bent on being as vanilla as possible. If this was the NFL about 70% of that organisation would be facing the chop right now.

Hopefully we can flush the dunny of these guys before we lose a bunch of them, or they are ruined beyond repair

It’s just annoying because we would most likely be gunning for a final if it wasn’t for pathetic selections.

They also reward ill-dicipline. For example Kirifi should be no way near that team after his performance on Saturday yet he continues to start.

I’ve got zero faith in this organisation when they continue to poo poo the fans by making brain dead selections. Great way to build up the Canes brand and following.

NZR 'commissions' do after an appalling loss to Argentina

You think they’d be consistent and at least put Toala on the bench every other squad member has had game time, I’ll never understand the continual selection of Proctor over PUJ, if he was getting better each game by all means but he hasn’t been.

@canes4life to be fair Julian has been good, surprisingly good! I mean I did have low expectations, but he has blazed past those.

I've kind of given up on trying to get any insight into how Holland picks his team, or how the Canes are juggling their talent. I know we aren't party to all the shit that goes down within a club, but fucked if I know how they are making decisions.
