Being Evel Knievel on Storyville (BBC) is a very good doco - particularly for those of us who were around when he was the man

Banshee really is a load of suspended belief bullshit...but sort of watchable

Good show, well written. One of those shows where the employees (writers and such) must love going to work

    Fear The Walking Dead.

Very very meh about this. The actors are pretty shit and the only guy I don't want to get eaten is the black dude driving the boat.

If E2 doesn't improve then I'm out.

Apart from crap acting, crap characters, zero action or suspense and the complete absence of t&a to compensate for this?

To be fair it looks like something might actually happen in E2.

Nothing was as disturbing as this. It might be the best prison fight scene ever

Banshee S4
After two waffling about scene setting eps, E3 was a massive jump in storyline as if they need to speed everything up. No leads for 2 years on Job then suddenly it is all over. Looks like two storylines to carry this to a conclusion. One will be the gang chasing down the guy that ran away with the money. The other will surely lead to a Hood/ Proctor showdown of epic proportions. My guess is that Burton is the killer and Proctor will try and protect him despite Rebecca's death.
Orphan Black S4
Had been wondering how this was going to go as the storyline was getting a bit tired but E1 was very clever in going back to the start and showing what Beth did before the story we know started. Added another weirdo clone to the mix then in the last scene tied in back to current time. Still a good watch.
The Detour. On TBS in the US. 3rd Episode aired tonight.

Basically a TV version of National Lampoons Vacation. With Natalie Zea from Justified. Family on a road trip to Florida, where everything goes wrong.

First comedy I have enjoyed in a few years. Worth a look.

just finished the latest season of Vikings...bit up and down, with the focus not so much on Ragnar.

Still a good series; got 1 ep of Daredevil left to go too.
Splitting the time between Rollo< Ragnar and Wessex...the decline of Ragnar as he succumbed to the additcion of Opium (I assume) although when he worked out it wasnt medicine he fought it.

Assume the fact Magnus is his son will be a big part of next season, although Bjorn looks to be stepping up and head further south.

Not enough Lagertha though!

Wonder what will happen with the other boys too.
GoT

Meh. Lots of meh. Without the books as a template the show has gone off the reservation. Not sure how that Dornish prince managed to teleport from a ship bound for Kings Landing back to Dorne while Jamie was on board.

yeah the only bits with a bit of interest was at the Wall (except Melisandre) and Sansa, but hopefully it is setting up a bigger picture with a bit of a plan, rather than just Mr. Martins wirting notes about possible plot lines!

Yeah too many plots going on at once to really advance a hell of a lot. I pretty much binge watched the first 5 seasons so to just watch one episode and now have to wait a whole week is a bit annoying.

I know I shouldn't question logic in this silly yet entertaining show but a ) Hood survives a beating and stabbing from this guy early on b ) trains on his own in solitary to become a good enough fighting machine to take this guy down and subsequently kill him and c ) still gets released from prison ?
