An Egyptian court has sentenced a four-year-old boy to life in prison for committing four 'murders' when he was only one and a half years old. 
Ahmed Mansour Karni was convicted in absentia of four counts of murder, eight of attempted murder, vandalising property, disturbance of peace and threatening police officers. 
The boy was part of a list of 115 defendants who were all given life sentences at a military court in Cairo for crimes committed on 3 January 2014 in the province of Fayoum, 70km south of Cairo.

This is a problem for us as the Conservative lot are pretty piss-poor too and as blindly arrogant as can be. We need a strong opposition to keep things in check but we've got this bunch of unelectable mongtards.

Problem is, opposition leaders know they can just be attack dogs, and only pull out a policy at election time. Until then, being adversarial is easy because the media love that shit.

Depends on your perspective Conspiracy theorists "know" things too - and like a lot of politicians, they're not close friends with reality.
 
The apparent difference between NZ and Australia right now is that no-one seems to be able to hang onto power very long at the top here. It isn't necessarily a weak opposition, either - just that good opposition leaders seem to be having a hard time once they get the job, then slowly have their reputation eroded because of flip-flopping and general lack of unity in their own party.
