    Ah, that sucks. Best show on TV and he was the best comic on it. Genuinely gutted.

    So smart too

    @jc said in Awesome stuff you see on the internet:

    @baron-silas-greenback mmmm Rachel Riley.

    EOOTCDC is consistently entertaining. We saw Sean Lock on one of the latest ones and he didn’t look well. Hope he’s OK.

    Unfortunately, it appears that he wasn't.

    Austin Mitchell, former British Labour MP, Historian, TV presenter, writer and all-round good bloke. Strong connection to NZ, and wrote a book on his experiences in NZ and invented the phrase The Half-Gallon Quarter-Acre Pavlova Paradise

    Loved the story he used to tell of a Grimsby tourist who bumped into George W Bush at Ground Zero. “Where are you from?” asked Bush. “Grimsby,” said the visitor. “What state is it in?” asks the president. “Much the same as this,” came the reply

    Def one of the good guys.

    @sparky gutted, he was a great comedian, and some of his one-liners were phenomenal. Particularly enjoyed his work on 8 out of 10 cats and countdown.

    Same, and I've barely watched him, just the FB videos of that show. Way too young.

    I watched a few clips yesterday.

    Honestly feels like somebody I know passed on. I guess with other entertainers (musicians etc) you don't really feel like you know them. With comedy / show panellists though, those that you thoroughly enjoy, is partially because they are so good at coming across like they are at the end of your own table cracking the jokes / one liners.

    Sean was undoubtedly everybody's favourite Grumpy Old Man, abeilt one with a huge grin and cheeky glint in his eye. I genuinely 100% will miss him.

    He could get away with Hitler jokes that almost nobody else could, and that takes some talent.

    This is probably my favourite mash up. The to and fro with Jupp is so good. The whelk competition has me in tears

    Miles is the perfect foil for him. Most of that had me in tears - laughter, but man I'm going to miss Seanie (got to say that it seems that Rachel had quite a soft spot for him).

    Jimmy pissing himself at the "I promise not to spit on you when we have sex tonight" was brilliant. How did he get away with that stuff? Miles, "on the fence about Hitler" also hilarious.

    @stargazer one of the great NZ politicians, especially as finance minister. He and Sir Bill English deserve a lot of credit for our current ability to weather Covid-19 fiscally.

    @godder A friend of mine worked for him (in his position of Attorney-General) and says that he's never worked for a better, more intelligent minister. He always listened, asked good questions and - didn't have a big ego.
