well I read the bit about TWD, and as your mind automatically scans ahead....

I shall remember that next time I am about to spoiler something, I'll try to recall if you might have watched or not ;)
-

GOT
Anyone else absolutely bored shitless with the Brann and the big dumb fuck who says Hodor a lot storyline ? Just about had to skip those scenes they were so dull. As Virg said awesome to see the GIant kick some ass, between him and Clegane there were two heads splattered on the wall within 10 minutes of the episode starting so that was very rewarding to see.

That Ramsay is an absolute fluffybunny isn't he ? just gets more loathsome each new episode. What an evil arsehole. I have a feeling he is due for a spectacular and brutal death though, I've heard rumours Theon will be the one to do it too which would be fitting. Who was the bloke who pushed Greyjoy ( Theons Dad ) off the bridge ? was it his brother and have we seen him before ?
-
That's Euron Greyjoy, brother to Balon (who he pushed)
No that's the first time we have seen him, should have been included at least a couple or so series back.
He's a crazy mofo, cut all his crews tongues out.
What will likely happen next is the Kings Moot.... Basically similar to the US situation where you have Trump vs H. Clinton. -

I think the flashbacks with Bran will be key to setting up a major storyline.

Maybe but that whole story better have an awesome conclusion cos it's fucken boring me shitless.

Good to see Max Von Sydow in there though, doing the Star Wars/Bond/GOT trio. As far as I know there's one other who has done that AND Indiana Jones for good measure. Can you nerds name him ?
-

ooh ooh I can, well, i can name his characters anyway

So, GOT. How are we feeling? I finally got to watch the first two last night, and i was very "meh" about the whole thing. Fucking get on with it. I said after the last series, there is an interesting story there, if they would just develop it. But instead was get ever expanding individual story lines, many of which are fucking boring.

The Ramsay thing is pissing me off. Yes, social media went apeshit when Joffrey died, but do you really have to try for the same exposure again? It's a boring storyline, fuck it off.

I get the horrible feeling these fluffybunnies are making it up as they go along, and what ever the conclusion, we're not going to be happy
-

Can you elaborate on what you mean ? in terms of creating a hatable character they've done a wonderful job.

I do agree they need to get on with it, a couple of random bits of violence here and there won't cut it.
-

yes, he's hateable. He's been hateable for a long time now. He'll continue to be hateable right up until he meets a graphic death (as an aside, the bloke getting stabbed from the back of his head through his face was awesome!). but what else is he doing to move the (sorry, a) story along? Fuck all really. He's being a massive dick so everyone hates him. Then he'll die, and the highest trending topic on twitter will be #takethatramsayyoucunt and the producers will all shout themselves another bag of coke off a hookers ass. job done.

Yeah but you could argue that point about any of the stories if you analyse it enough and every show of this sort needs someone to hate.

I for one hope Ser Bronn of the Blackwater makes and appearance soon. I'm missing his cynicism and biting wit.
-

You know what will happen in ep 3 - they won't even address Snow at all, they'll fuck around with the other plots and come back to Snow in ep 4. They need to pull a few of these plots together asap so we get more action. -

Nah they do address Snow in EP3.. he is kinda in the shorts. .... walking through the nights watch as they say WTF??!!

I am also guessing that Bran (with his nifty 'look back in time' trick) is the only one left who will be able to tell Jon Snow who is mum (and Dad) are.

Quite funny that the new Khal joker is a kiwi, obviously Samoans and Hispanics all look the same to international audiences. Pretty sure he played NPC rugby back in the day. Definitely played for Glasgow too.

Oh is he the guy replacing Jason Momoa then? The Jason Momoa who's part Hawaiian and part native American? Or have I missed a Hispanic bloke? -
I agree that the Bran scenes have sucked, but that looks set to change big time. His flashbacks will reveal some pretty cool shit and show what promises to be an epic swordfight between Ned and Co and the Kingsguard.

If anything show Ramsay is less evil than book Ramsay. He'd already killed a brother and Roose was well aware of it. That's why I found his death pretty crap in the show. He should have known full well how Ramsay would react. As has already been mentioned, a certain Frey ain't going to be happy that his daughter and grandson were fed to the dogs. Not that that will make any difference to the makers of the show. -
