Just got a notification the Black Panther, Waka Nathan, is now poaching tries in the sky
Broke his jaw on the 1963/64 tour of the UK, he was still arguably the player of the tour.
Some of the greatest players to have ever played the game have worn the All Blacks Number 7 Jersey, including Waka Nathan.
Rest in peace.
He was a bit before my time, but I remember my Dad saying Waka Nathan was only fractionally behind Michael Jones as a 7.
Those '63-69 AB teams had to be some of the best ever and had way more than their fair share of all-time greats

Colin Powell, the first Black US secretary of state whose leadership in several Republican administrations helped shape American foreign policy in the last years of the 20th century and the early years of the 21st, has died from complications from Covid-19, his family said on Facebook. He was 84.
From the article: Powell had multiple myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells that suppresses the body's immune response, as well as Parkinson's, Peggy Cifrino, Powell's longtime chief of staff, confirmed to CNN. Even if fully vaccinated against Covid-19, those who are immunocompromised are at greater risk from the virus.
Sad, but his legacy will always be undermined by presenting the false case against Iraq.
