Right! That's it! Stop playing for the impossible underdog card. You've been based here long enough for an ambush, and we have Waratahs Supercoach Daryl Gibson in charge. Am not being lulled into a false sense of security here. 🙂

BOP have looked good in so many games without quite getting over the line. We will change that for you. Thank us later.

just in case anyone was wondering what the colours were for, the team will be wearing a special jersey and the colours are their local clubs

Gibson is another coach in love with a 6:2 split on the bench.

What are people's thoughts on Cashmore? He's looked reasonably good for his age in the very little I've seen of him.

On his current trajectory, Daryl Gibson should be coaching Heartland rugby next year.

Not sure - I've always assumed he's Adrian's son, but I haven't seen anything to confirm it

I thought he looked good for the Chiefs U20s and was much improved from when I watched him at 1st XV level for TBC. One for the future.

@Chris-B He is the nephew of Adrian.

A very nicely worked try. Good of the two Northland forwards to be aggressive at counter rucking instead of defending the fringes 🙂

From our side, I just hope that doesn't secure Gibson more time lol

Despite this NPC being anything but fair, with this result we end up having 2 QFs this weekend to decide who progresses to the SFs.

@bayimports won't change anything for us, despite our coaches bumbling thier way through the past few seasons, think they are locked in until the year 2099...Southland deserve the semi spot, they look much better drilled without the quality in the squad like Northland had.

I think we should just default this last game against Hawkes Bay , we have ton of injuries and I am not sure how we are going to extra players out of Northland .
I’m sure Hawkes Bay will use it as an opportunity to roll their Dev squad .
Hoping Josh Goodhue is ok did not look good ..

That is a massive concern for him, given his history, this could be the final knock for him!

    From newshub

Goodhue was released from hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning but is still experiencing ongoing headaches and a sore neck. He'll be taken for further scans on Thursday afternoon.
