R.I.P. Dean Stockwell, a great actor who never met a scene he couldn’t steal

He was pretty good in Dune and Quantum Leap

Oh fuck, that death sucks to see.
I 100% already thought he was dead. RIP.
You and me both to be honest. There’s a few of that era who I would have no idea off the top of my head.

@donsteppa Yeah just checked and it looks like it hasn't been updated in a while. Congratulations though to Prince Philip alive and well and into his second century. Betty must be pleased....
Haven't looked at the site for quite a while TBH

Well given that they've buried him I expect he's bloody furious.

Maybe his death was fake news or he stopped moving and they just assumed he was dead ?

F W De Klerk dies at 85
One of my political heroes who did the right thing at the right time and showed real courage.

Wilbur Smith at 88
Have read a little bit of his stuff and it was always good fun.
Am a little sad.
My favourite author through my teenage years.
However it became a case of if you read one you'd read them all.
Got a little bored of his Courtneys of Africa saga (for some reason I didn't like the characters or story line) so gave up on him.
Did get a lot of enjoyment from his work.

I'd double up vote that if I could @booboo . Almost mirrors my sentiments exactly.

That criticism never stopped ACDC selling a truckload of albums.

They were easy reads, think I read first one when I was like 12 and felt good because you would think you’ve just read this massive big epic and so read a few ore

Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere as a little late but in the past few months a couple of the originals from UB40 passed away. Brian Travers (the saxaphone that was a signature on their early stuff) and Astro.
Before the cheesy money making covers their first album was brilliant and a real cultural crossover.
Funny how much they'd NZs Herbs sound alike. -

I did find it quite funny that one of them ended up joining a UB40 tribute band though.
