Source?
Russia has hiked its interest rate to 20% to prevent a run on its currency. Panic stations!!No source, my guess.

I ask because I understood it to be tough for Europe and other countries to cut-off Russia's energy without causing massive problems to themselves. Not least, a further surge in oil prices.

Truth is the first casualty in war and the bullshit we're seeing about this one is off the charts.
Example from The Times: President Putin believed that he could capture Kyiv and as many as four other cities within 48 hours of launching his invasion, according to British and Ukrainian defence sources.
How the fuck would they know?

why hasn't anyone just shot that mad little fluffybunny yet? Would anyone miss him?
Nature abhors a vacuum. If Putin goes, who steps in? Maybe he's got a bunch of yes-men played off against each other or something, and it would be a feeding frenzy.
But at least the replacement will take a few years to reach full apocalyptic reTAHD.
