    @Frank 9 7 5 too good for that team

    I think we need a definition of SWB too as Robinson and Evans don't fit the Sam Broomhall/Suitcase/Mark Carter mould.

    @Bones when was Deans ever All Blacks coach?

    When poor Daryl Gibson got kept on the bench to prevent him joining his 14 fellow Cantabrians in the starting All Black lineup against Ireland. About 2002?

    I was happy with Gibson on the bench as he wasn’t a specialist winger but they could have definitely picked Scott Hamilton instead of the overrated show pony Jonah Lomu.

    Power, pace, dynamism and X factor are such a waste, especially on the wing. Give me someone slow and steady who is able to play to a predictable pattern any day of the week.

    @Frank I look forward to your Unsafe Brown Boys XV. I reckon Havili'i is a shot for both teams.

    Can't be bothered looking up how to spell all the long Islander names.

    Pffft, correct spelling of names has never been a hinderance on the Fern.

    Unless of course it is Messam. I think getting his name wrong earned the death sentence for a while there.

    Yeah I forgot about them. My memory says they were all getting misspelt around the same time and someone had a dummy spit about it, saying we should be respecting these players more etc. It remains one of my favourite Fern dummy spits. Up there with "When's the team named?"

    I thought that was the correct spelling for Hika Reid.

    Campbell Johnstone, ©Mark Hammett, Tim Perry, Issac Ross, Dom Bird, George Whitelock, Scott Waldrom, Sam Broomhall, the English fella Willie Heinz, Brett Cameron, Zac Guildford, Tom Taylor, David Havili, Caleb Ralph, George Bridge. Ruben Thorne would be coach with Blair & Hamilton as his trusty assistants

    Haha, what drongo did that ? Good grief what a sad, pathetic thing to whine about.

    I always misspell the first name of the faster Ioane brother though to be fair.
