    Worst All Blacks Coach Ever.

Let’s be fair, worst coaching team. I don’t even think Foster is the worst on the team. They have Mooar remember.

Only because Foster couldn't get anyone else to join.

I remember too many Chiefs games and squad selections to be fair or to agree.

Haven't read the thread since the final whistle as I am so pissed off. What a complete and utter shit-show.

OK, there were some positives, our D was great and Nugget, Reece, Bower & Scooter played their socks off and the team really fought back in the 1st half. Players showing some leadership and stepped up after the kick to the corner

But bugger me, we seemed to go into the 2nd half with our heads somewhere in cloud 9. What the fuck did the coaching staff say to the players at half-time as our momentum went backwards fucking quickly.

Our kick and chase game was awful and ended up gifting possession and putting us on the back foot. Ireland targeted our mid-field after last week (who'd have thunk that). Then we saw the same old pattern we've seen since 2017 - promising moves or periods of the game fucked up by silly mistakes, helter-skelter passing everywhere. And as for Ardie's leaving the field, WTF?

You could pass some of this shit off last week with all the injuries & Covid stuff if we didn't play so well - but we did - so we can omit that excuse. Cane played poorly today but we've had exactly the same problems under Read, Ardie & Sam. There was so much that was bad that you lose track of them.

Maybe it isn't just a coaching issue and it's a head-space, culture thing but the current set-up just isn't addressing the problems of playing thru periods of pressure, and playing consistently in more than a game in a row and we sure as heck aren't moving in the right direction.

Fuck me, i'm angry and frustrated as we prove time and time again we can play really, really well but we are on a treadmill of constant fuck-ups, poor discipline by the players and directionless tactics and play.

You know, I really don't know if this is Foster's fault, and I'm beyond blaming any one person, but he really, really isn't the answer.

    Yours,

    Angry of Cornwall

    (Rant over)

    I hate this

Innate to day the Crusaders team would be an improvement on this dross.

They would at least have been able to get the ball to Mo'unga and Jordan.

Mo'unga had 30 odd minutes and didn't do a fucking thing. Because our 10s aren't the problem, our coaching group is. Absolutely brainless performance, made all the worse as we have both Razor and Rennie, NZers, that would love to coach the ABs, and one is stuck in SR and the other we let go overseas. Picking Foster as the head coach after Hansen was fucking insane at the time, and after loses to Argentina and Ireland at home in amongst other dross served up by a talented group of players, is even more insane now in hindsight. Jobs for fucking mates and we're paying the price.

I'm not too worried about losing Rennie tbh, not saying he is a bad coach but he doesn't seem to have (so far) catalysed the Wallabies?

The Wallabies are showing signs of improving and building towards something. Might this be the year the ABs and Wallabies trajectories cross over?

    Statistically it is due

I don't rule out the possibility NZR might ask Foster to go. That was a pretty shambolic performance. A repeat next week and/or in the RC and Robertson might sweep in.

They have investors to keep happy now

Investors will be happy. Interest in playing the ABs has skyrocketed as tier 1 and tier 2 teams sense their opportunity….

Investors will be laughing all the way to the bank

Maybe this is part of the strategic objectives for the NZRU

Which players are deadwood in your opinion?

    Retallick
    Taylor
    Cane

all should have to earn their jerseys back.

Cane won’t be the next coaches captain, so as soon as Fozzie gets fired, Cane will be axed (for better or worse).

@chimoaus Only Taukei'aho is better than Taylor. Coles breaks all the time and is old, Aumua not up to it. Too soon for Thompson, too late for Eklund. Who would you bring in as replacements?

That is the issue isn't it. ST should be starting with Taylor or Coles on the bench.

Leicester had a bad night. Happens early in test career. He'll be ok. Same with Sowakula.

    Older ABs are creaking

We've now lost four of the last six tests. Dump these clown coaches, and chop the deadwood from the team.

    That’s terrible…if it were true 😉

It’s 4 of the last 7 against Ireland. That includes tonight.

    Dunedin 2022 - Ireland
    Auckland 2022 - ABs
    Dublin 2021 - Ireland
    Yokohama 2019 - ABs
    Dublin 2018 - Ireland
    Dublin 2016 - ABs
    Chicago 2016 - Ireland

So based on that pattern, we win next week 😎

Does AT get any heat? It did appear accidental but players just have to do more.

    christ I'm really pissed off.

    Foster, Mooar and McLeod can fuck off. They aren't a coach's arsehole. We've seen it for some time, this is the red card that highlights the lack of quality coaching. These guys are idiots;

Rope in any decent coach, grab Henry Hansen and Schmidt as advisers, and win some fucking test matches.

Nervous about the Aussies right now.

I love him, but he just looks slow.

He’s working his ass off, but he’s not impactful and won’t be a better player next year. It’s not that he’s a poor player, he’s just no longer the best 7 in the country.

He would be in the squad and he can help to develop Dalton, but he shouldn’t be captain and most likely shouldn’t be starting.
