    It's taken 3-4 years for the AB forwards to be properly organized. That's why we won. WTF NZR
    Hard decisions need to be made now

    What really fůcks me off is these comments about how we should relax now and stop bleating and how Ireland and RSA are really good and there's no shame in losing to them etc. Ffs, it's those expectations and standards that are the reason the ABs are such a marquee brand. Take that away and we're just Wales in black (no offence meant).

    No way anyone would believe that Foster is stepping down. He’s been saying the opposite for weeks and even said after the game he has no idea. Also if NZR have someone in place they have done so behind his back which is constructive dismissal
    NZR can’t pretend otherwise. If he’s gone they have to be honest and say it is because of a body of work.

    @trooa I've had a look at the ABs YouTube channel and there isn't a placeholder for it streaming there - it still might pop up at 5.30pm but I suspect Stuff and the Herald sites would be the best places to check. Not sure if Sky will show it.

    Is Foster an employee of the NZRU? I don’t know exactly how the NZRU structure their engagements of the head coach, but I would’ve thought for tax purposes the head coach would be a ‘contractor’. If that’s the case then constructive dismissal would not apply.

    @ACT-Crusader that's a good question - I can't recall hearing details on how the employment structure is set up... but they are on fixed term contracts so that's something.

    Someone earlier suggested he was an independent contractor. Not sure.

    Doesn't much matter in this case though. If Foster is ousted there will be a confidential settlement, probably a bit less rhan what the contract would have paid.

    Would need to be 7 figures now. 6 figures is so average.

    @Damo yeah I would’ve thought so.

    I still think that it’s highly improbable that Foster is gone, unless there is a “taken it’s toll” side to it

    @BerniesCorner

    Agreed.

    What this showed is that all is not lost even though we have been poorly managed for 3 years.

    1 win out of absolute desperation/ embarrassment does not make up for the poor development of the last 3 years. We are still only at a 40% win rate this year.

    Give this squad the best opportunity to win a RWC and that means being in the best coaching team we have.

    Foster has proven for years that he cannot manage a team to deliver consistent results.

    Time to go.

    @MN5 and he's saying they are going to review things then say something next week. So it's turned out to be a total nothing burger. Foster hangs on by the thinnest of margins it seems.
