Zardoz I think. Sean Connery is easy to categorise. If he has hair in the movie avoid it like the plague

The Rock, The Hunt For Red October, Highlander has hair in all of those and all are pretty good.

I think any movie where he has some floppy fringe type deal going on is likely to be crap..Or obviously pony tail.

Just wanted to add to the votes upthread for "Up" - went to a 10 am screening of that last week, took the 7 month old along to one of the baby friendly screenings.

A poignant, funny and quite moving film. A simple story, fantastical in nature - but with real heart and hope in it. It sounds like sickly sweet viewing fare - but it's not.

I really enjoyed it - and as my baby fell asleep halfway through I got to watch it with her small head on my shoulder. It was primo. A Pixar film for kids to enjoy the story, but for adults to savour the meaning.

The trailer for Martin Campbell's feature film remake of his own Edge of Darkness miniseries is online:
EDIT: And it looks about as bad as Gibson's accent sounds.

Bit of hype around Paranormal Activity. Sounds like another Blair Witch.

Anyone caught it yet?
Magic Man; Billy Zane

In spite of the lack of any big name actors, a decent storyline, and decent actual acting, it still sucked!

GI Joe - pretty average, some good action scenes mixed with silly action scenes; 5.4/10

The Ugly truth, Kathryn Heigl - new age Rom/com? A few of these now obviously with a bit more male oriented content trying to draw in the male veiwers better? I quite liked it, had some good laughs, with the obvious ending...for the girls 7.4/10

Watched 'Knowing' on the weekend and thought 3/4s of the movie was average and the last 1/4 was crap. Wouldn't recommend it.

Just watched Star Trek . The one that starts when they all meet at the Federation Acadamy . Wee bit cheesy in places but the Romulan bad guys are cool and the story is pretty bloody watchable as well . 7.5/10.

I have just introduce my daughter to the entire series of Indiana Jones. She had seen the new one but not the others. She watched all of them back to back. Couldn't pull her away. She thought the worst was the newest one. The best is Raiders and then The Last Crusade. So she has taste.

They are still every bit as watchable as they were when I was her age. We all know how good they are but if you have kids of an acceptable age(though my 2 yo has been sitting here with us...)
then get into it. They will love them!

Step Brothers, went in not expecting much (never really been a fan of Will Ferrell), but was suprised as it was at times bloody funny. Easily his best work. Crude but some great laughs.

7.5/10

Just watched Final destination in 3-D, utterly appaling movie - terrible, absolutely terrible. 3-D was very cool though, my personal advice if you want to watch a 3-D film save your $$ for a Christmas Carol - who's 3-D trailer was probably the highlight of going to see final destination...
