@Catogrande BTW, how is Katie Hopkins these days?
I've had dinner with Joanna Lumley.
I'll leave you two to compare dick size.
seriously? how was she, always thought she'd be one of the people that would be great to sit down and chat too

Was decades ago when I was helping out at a Variety Club event for kids and we all sat down for a post-event meal. She'd been doing the afternoon teas for us helpers.
Very much "girl next door" - normal, kind and genuine. Took the time to write a thank you note to my mate who had to miss the meal.

The other obvious test is Rambo or Rocky. It was Rambo for me.
A much better one is Han or Indy.
Not even an icon like Indy can match Han.
they're the same character with a different outfit
(they are also my two favourite movie characters of all time)

@Kruse Hans.
And speaking of Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe, you're a wizard bud
I think I've watched one and a half Potter films so I don't associate Radcliffe as only Harry as I've seen him in lots of varied roles.
Rocky over Rambo.
Han over Indy. -

They’re both up there. I can’t imagine Han Solo teaching at uni but aside from that it’s a good point.
Funny how Harrison can’t quite let go of them. I’m sure he doesn’t need the money.
I’m terrified at how shite the latest Indiana Jones movie will be given how bad the most recent one ( 15 years ago ! ) was…..

Would you believe my mother took me to see Silence of the lambs at the movies when I was 11 years old.... For TWs benefit it was the old Regent movie theatre in Whangarei.
I watched it recently with my boys ( 12 and 14 )
They found him “pretty creepy” for a relatively normal looking guy which I guess speaks volumes of his performance.
They also spent the next day singing “Goodbye Horses” and telling each other to put the fucken lotion in the basket.

@Nepia has he been in THAT many other roles? i can think of a couple but nothing iconic
He's in a tv show I like called Miracle Workers and I've seen him in the odd movie. The magician one, and the one where he played a corpse. Apparently he's good in the Weird Al movie but I haven't seen it as it's on Roku.

Timothy Oliphant.
Raylan Givens or Seth Bullock?
Another one where it's kinda the same character.
But I think, for me, he's Seth Bullock - who was therefore excellent casting for Raylan.Raylan for me as I watched Justified first.
Eggert.
-
Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes - the definitive portrayal. So good you wonder whether other actors bothered to read the books.
