I didn't hear him say but think it went enough phases. I don't think Thompson should have taken the risk of getting held up.
Good win to the Reds.
Finau in attack and Nankivall when he came on aside that was a pretty dud performance across the board. @antipodean's mate DMac had his worst match of the season. Ratima is physical but he lacks the clearance and decision making of Weber.

God fucking damn bro. Well done Reds, defence was great vs a lackluster looking Chiefs side. Shut them down completely. The one throw not straight was a killer and Thompson probably shouldn't have taken the ball in that last run but fuck it is what it is. Kinda had the feeling a loss was coming but wouldn't have thought it'd be against the Reds. Anyway, deserved win.

Well done Reds. Played out of their tree. Their best match this season
Got a bit frustrated with Cortez Ratima. I find his time to clearance and decision making a bit flawed and think it puts pressure on those behind him. And our hookers made a few errors. Finau was a great warrior and ENS played well. Will be better with Cane Brodie Weber and Taukeiaho back.
A big wakeup for Chiefs. Probably needed.

The Chiefs game drivers were very poor in this game but they still could have knicked it at the death. The Reds defence was very good though.
Not a game Thompson will look back on with any satisfaction.
This result may alter McMillan's plans for the final 2 games now.
