A heck of a lot do. I've known knowledgeable Pom rugby supporters who exhibit surprise when you point out the likes of Jonah, Tana, etc are born in NZ.
Are they even more surprised when you point out that Manu Tuilagi was actually born in Samoa, and not in the UK?

We mostly know that. We hear it from all the Kiwi and Aussie supporters

Of course it cuts both ways. Jamie Salmon and John Gallagher were born and raised in the UK. But they got their formal rugby education in NZ

@Catogrande No, no, no. You’re supposed to lean into the natural right of the English to plunder your former Empire.
Nothing worse than you superior bastards who hide your natural villainy behind a facade of wit, self-deprecation and a solid rugby sense.

Actually, it was even funnier when one complained that the Maori All Blacks had poached Akira Ioane. (yes, really)

@MN5 especially the faux ones
Na they handle themselves with self deprecation and wit.The genuine ones are fluffybunnies. I blame the weather and the food and the price of a good whisky ( not whiskey )
Interesting that faux Scots watch "genuine" Scots even though the latter are...
Only if its on free to air TV

I don’t have to take that from some bloody colonial.
Now you’re getting it. Now do something bloody stupid, like, I dunno getting yourself embroiled in a European land war that you are woefully unprepared to fight or withdrawing from a beneficial political & economic union designed to avoid just such a conflict. We love it when you beg for our help.

But we usually win these. OK mainly thanks to the Scots and Irish, plus an historical nod to the Welsh archers.

Please see above comment.

More of a guilt trip thing. Seems to work.

Awful analysis, incorrect conclusions, zero insight
Wrong about pretty much everything

I've always wondered who the MP was who wrote those words. Buy them a beer if I ever find out.

I don't like beer.

@Victor-Meldrew even now, social media is full of the warriors complaining that NZ still pillages the islands, amusingly, it appears the comments are often from British, so I have to assume they arent actual fans of the game given, well you know.

@taniwharugby The game is a bit weird in England. Genuine rugby supporters are fine and just as good as anywhere (despite the PI nonsense) but there plenty of part-time supporters who can be a pain in the arse and think everyone else cheats.
Cornwall, thankfully, is a bit like Wales and rugby has deep roots here. Imagine they'll be as pissed off with Sexton as we are.
