Never throw a speculator pass when you are raining backwards like that.

That penalty try was a ridiculous decision but Wales clearly 2nd best as expected given the teams selected.

    Never a penalty
Let alone a YC and Penalty Try

Got a better view than Brace
    Blind fluffybunny

He shouldn’t be anywhere near Test Rugby
    Always been shit

    43-9 with 20 to go.

    Could get really ugly.

Willemse does a Farrell and a reviewable YC.

Rassie's reaction will be interesting if a Red is confirmed and a ban results...

Don't quite understand what the Welsh coaches can gain from this?
The selection policy over the 3 games has been pretty strange, surely at some point you'd select something close to your 1st XV.

Great day out in the sunshine

Crowd was in good voice and mood despite the drubbing

    Dee is our starting hooker

Props not, but they’re improving each match

Second rows went well but offered little ball carrying go forward

    Back row were ok
But I’d start Basham, Morgan, Wainwright

Hardy is most definitely our third choice 9

Costelow is this year’s Colin Stephens
Lacks top end speed and blew a great try scoring opportunity
Should have given it straight back to Dyer

    J Williams tried too hard
    He’ll be staying home

    Grady will come

    Dyer was our best player
    Shouldn’t have got yellow
And was very unlucky in that shit tackle

Rogers tried hard but you could see he was green

Cai Evans could have played himself on to the plane

    Basham big impact

    Andrew Brace
    A big disgrace
Missing shit all over the place
    Singing
    Andrew Brace is rubbish

    Missed so many forward passes
    YC was a joke
Snayman was infringing at the lineout all afternoon and finally got penalised in the 70th minute

Both hits in the air should have been looked at, both quite easily YC

    The YC killed us
We were being outplayed but containing their scoring, then the game blew wide open

They’ve worked out who’s staying home

And who should be called back in to the squad if there are injuries

SA proving the 2019 game plan isn’t dead.

They should be more in the mix for discussions around potential winners.

    They were highly impressive today.

Why do the Boks and others get two WC warm-up matches while the ABs only get one?,

That's what they've organised, it's up to the abs to arrange, maybe that's all abs wanted

I think a team that has won it three times and consistently lifts for World Cup tournaments will always be in discussions.

Poor old Wales, an absolute hiding but they’ll still comfortably get out of their pool.

I thought the penalty try and card was a poor call. But the Welsh wingers were awful in my view and gave the Boks too much room. Pretty dire for Wales. Morgan was great again but little else to cheer about. Marx and Moodie great for SA

@MiketheSnow Agree with most of this Mike but Dee worries me, he's excellent around the park but is a poor scrummager at test level.
Elias is a big loss in that regard, far more physical.
We don't have many options there unfortunately. I feel for those inexperienced props, you drop Marx Inbetween them & they'd look different players.

Agreed, but France showed the blueprint for beating Fiji last night

Kick long, kick dead, compete at lineout

To that end, I'd rather have Dee for his lineout throwing and mobility around the park over Lake and his scrummaging

He's almost universally disliked on here, but Le Roux is aging like fine wine

His positional play yesterday was exemplary, and he got the backline flowing often taking the ball at the 10 position

He's integral to SA scoring tries from phase play and from the counter attack

Well I expected a thrashing, but hoped it was going to a smaller one than that. Glad I'm not the only one dumbfounded by the YC / penalty try decision, a truly WTF moment that had an adverse effect on the game.

Not many positives for Wales. SA looking very good, as we knew they would.

    Next stop Bordeaux

@MN5 have you seen Wales play recently? Have you seen Fiji?

I think we'll still get out of the pool, but I'm very confident it won't be comfortable
