@Chris think the scrums sans SB for 55 mins is not a major, handling and lineout were abysmal.

That diary should be full from the last 3 years of the same shit we saw in this game.
    Lessons not learned.

We need a meme of Foster at the chalkboard Bart Simpson style rewriting the same learnings over and over.

@taniwharugby hence my question pre pick off. Would an ABs loss affect the ABs more psychologically than a SA loss. I believe it will. SA can get up for one off games. I doubt we can. Not for 7 at least.

Dunno , we have responded well to disappointing performances in the past ,

My concern has always been around consistency and stringing together good performances , which is what’s required to win this cup , I was hoping we had turned that corner , and then today happens

Plenty of lessons for Jase Ryan too. His forward pack got bitch slapped.

    @KiwiMurph

100% just really fucked off that dumb weak performance,
France will eat us alive if we play like that.
So dissapointing we have reverted to this shit again.

    Hammering

Boks barely got out of 3rd gear

We didn't get out of first, so not completely flattering.

    Both SA’s choice

    Not entirely. We chose to:

    • Forget how to catch
    • miss easy shots
    • play dumb footy in our 22 (costing two tries)
    • throw poorly to lineouts
    • give away dumb penalties
      and
    • play with, on average, a man down for the whole match.

    Excuses? Maybe.

Remeber just over a month ago we made them look equally average.

Honestly, that first penalty not given and I don't see this happening.

They need to win contact to play the high risk kicking game. Why would you play a game that gives the Boks territory to play their pressure game?

The first half took 60 minutes to complete.

110 Queen Quids to watch the refs, touch judges and TMO take centre stage.

    This, bloody frustrating

@Chris still don't feel the scrum is as bigger concern, biggest is if we can get up off the canvas.

Ok, the game meant a helluva a lot more to the Boks than our boys and they have been in Europe for much longer. One of those games under Foster and there have been a few where the All Blacks looked hideously under-prepared for some reason.

Flush the toilet and move on. The real business starts in two weeks time when there is a lot more at stake than the Qatar Airways Cup. A lot to work on ahead of France. Go Black!

@sparky our history is that we bounce back. The high number of cards combined with the bunker is the rogue factor.

He got tackled into half back. The clean out was aggressive not dirty. Unlucky. He is the best forward by a mile.

    While true, its still unacceptable.

They went there to cash in with an exhibition doubling up as a RWC warm up. They put on an exhibition of pure scutter and succumbed to their biggest ever defeat. To a team with a debutant (at centre) a rookie ten and Kolisi coming back off serious injury. They slapped them around.

And a couple of our usual suspects have reverted to type.

This batch (under this coach) are creating all sorts of negative records.

The crest on the front is bigger than any name on the back.

@kev There have been lots of cards in the last four or five Six Nations. Ireland and France will be used to it.
