45/1 after 11. Afghanistan have also dropped a couple of chances. I'd say pretty even at the moment.

    Well fuck.

Cruising at 109/1, and all of a sudden it’s 110/4.

Ravindra and Mitchell out to absolute rubbish shots, Young caught behind to a great catch.

Our record of never losing to a minnow at a World Cup in suddenly in danger.

All three out were rubbish Young caught off an inside edge driving is a poor shot,
Completely missed the line it didn’t even swing.

Are the Bangles still considered a minnow? They’ve beaten basically everyone now in all forms just about?

@voodoo I wouldn’t think so, certainly not in ODI or T20’s.

I hate that every time they show black caps in the bunker I think it's England. Yuck "civvies".

Latham and Phillips with a beauty partnership of 140 odd, drag us back into it, then they both go and get out in the 48th over…

Hopefully Chapman and Santner can finish the innings with a bang

Weird how Comms were saying NZ were looking at 280+ before the wickets but not now.

As we go to 276 with 7 balls to come.

Chapman seeing it well. Change of pace, full, short - he’s on it.

288 on a not so easy pitch is pretty good.

We need to bowl well (take pace off and not wide)

72% of runs for NZ scored by the top 3 in this tournament. Am I in backwards land?

You just made me realise, there's about 99.99% probability captain Kane/Cane will hold aloft the cricket and rugby world cups.

Surely the absence of a thread meltdown gave away the result? 🙂

India, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan then Sri Lanka

Win 2 and NRR might be enough? Win 3 should be enough without NRR?

India will be a good test of where we are. England have been a bit rocky so tough to read too much into that first up result. A loss would be okay (India are clearly the best team), but if we want to be contenders we need to be competitive at least.

I think 3 wins will get us through easily. 2 wins probably enough.
