A great chase.
After that start by OZ we did pretty well to restrict them to 388. We actually paced that chase almost to perfection.
I’m just glad the RR deficit is very minimal given the chase.

Phone ran out of battery a few overs out.
Good thing too, as I was busy shitting my pants.
Amazing game. Once we got to Boult I thought we could tie up an end but then the skinny prick his a boundary! 🤣
We made just enough saves to make it count, but too many wides nearly ruined all that.

There was that Aus v SA game in the 2000’s where both sides scored in the 430’s

And what a match that was. I stayed up the whole night/morning to watch it. Ponting was putting on a masterclass and I was like can’t go to bed now.
Then after losing a wicket early, Graeme Smith and Gibbs went nuts. The drama in the last few overs was something else.

Maxwell dropped Ravindra cold.
One of our outfielders completely failed to stop a boundary hit right to them.
Marnus stepped onto the rope taking a catch.
We bowled too many wides - partly due to pressure - and probably pulled up about 20 runs short on our innings.
