Horizon Line
This is the dumbest movie I can remember watching. The F&F franchise is a slavish adherent to physics and a high water mark of script writing in comparison.
The bit where the boyfriend climbs out of the plane, makes his way to the nose and fixes a fuel line leak with duct tape as it flies isn't the most ridiculous part.Everyone involved should front the Hague to answer for this crime.

I actually quite like
Kylo RenAdam Driver as an actor…..or maybe it just seems that way in comparison to the other shithouse characters the last three SW movies introduced.Anyway, this sounded quite intriguing……but was shit. Fuck all dialogue ( due to him and the young girl speaking different languages ) and pointless dinosaur chases that we’ve seen a million times already in Jurassic Park. How the hell did they go so far back in time ?
Absolute crapola.

Dead Solid Perfect (1988)
Pretty good movie about the PGA Tour made by HBO from a well regarded novel. Has a dumb twist near the end, but very enjoyable overall. Randy Quaid has a pretty good swing. Only available on youtube.
EDIT: I guess it is age restricted because there is a perfect pair of tits.

yeah, was also a bit disappointed....i wasnt even sure they had gone back in time as they came form a different planet didnt they....and so it may have been 65 million years in the past for us the viewer....but not them?....not im not sure

thanks to a heatwave and a hangover i actually just stayed inside and watched movies yesterday. And in my quest for dumb action movies i don't have to think about while i stuff my mouth with junk food i chose
Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre
Fuck i admire how Jason Statham does not deviate one iota out of his lane. The same character no matter what the movie is called. Make a deadpan wise crack, punch a guy in the throat. collect cheque.
This movie is dumb, and that's what gives it the charm. Hugh Grant appears to love hamming it up as a "villain". Was entertainedBullet Train
Now this was good. Again, dumb. But entertaining. Stupid characters everywhere. Some funny shit. Some fucking hilariously gory deaths.
And now i see the Director has given us some of the most fun action movies of the last few years. Good work that man.Tit watch: Zero in total for both. I mean, there's barely an adult female in Bullet Train.

Not entirely true, in Lock Stock and Snatch he did all of the above except punch anyone in the throat.
I guess in those two he was merging into the lane that he has stayed in ever since.

@mariner4life fuck you are so right about Statham. I watched both of the Meg movies with my 10 year old boy and he was just classic Statham in both, which was heaps of fun to watch with the boy.
