The 60-0 test win over Ireland in 2012 was played in good conditions, as was the 2011 RWC game vs Japan.

Me too 😐 Was a night we didn't deserve to leave, but Francois Steyn kicked two penalties from 60 m. Sixty metres! Insane distance ... we just never got our shit together that night.

Edit: as I can't speak english today, to clarify: I was there too, but have seen the ABs lose before. Wobbles in Chch 1998, a frustrating display. And we didn't deserve to win in the Tron, just didn't play well.

The only time I've seen the ABs lose live was at the Cake Tin when John Eales kicked the winning penalty in the 133rd minute of the match. I'll never forget the walk back into to town after the match, massive crowd absolutely dead silent, everybody was in shock.

How come the 133rd minute? What had happened to cause 13mins of overtime?

would actually be 53rd minute of extra time at 133...think NQ was just exaggerating.

There was a graphic in the All Blacks v Wales Test #3 thread. But for the loss vs SA in 2009 the home winning streak would be 71.

To my disappointment that loss in Hamilton is the only time I've seen the ABs lose live in 40+ tests, and it's in my home city. :mad1:

Hahaha. The ref played something like 8 minutes extra time that match, I believe it is what led to the final hooter being used instead of the ref trying to keep time on his watch, as the game should have ended before that.

Great minds and all that ... I looked that up this morning. Then I felt dirty.

Using my magic 8-ball, if we go unbeaten in TRC, we go to 17. That would equal our previous record... and set us up for the Tier 1 record at Eden Pork against the Wobbles... now that would be tasty.

Looking at South Africa play on the weekend, I think it is fair to say that we won't get beat in the Rugby Championship this year.

This reminds me of the injury struck aussie team that drew 18 all with us after getting beaten 22-0 the previous game. That team they rolled out due to injuries was horrible and we were on a streak then. Seems like we are getting better at getting that sort of stuff off our backs now so hopefully we win by 50 this game.

I'm pretty sure that 18 all draw was the 3rd test after the Bledisloe had already been decided (I think ABs had won in Sydney and Auckland already) - Bledisloe wasn't on the line like it is this time.
