Watch it for Alec Baldwin, he's excellent in it. It's a very rare film too, a comedy not aimed at moronic teenagers.
Watched the Book of Eli the other day and really enjoyed it. It's a post-apocalyptic starring Denzel Washington who is carrying the last bible. I loved it but I'm pretty keen on the post-apocalyptic movies. It also stars the dark haired chic from That 70's show. Worth seeing but I don't think you'd miss much if you waited for the DVD. I didn't pick the ending but I hardly ever do.
Mila Kunis is her name I think, she is very easy on the eye.

Anywhoo, also saw this last night, quite liked it, although not convinced of the 'twist' at the end as to how it fitted in with a number of things. Parts of it did remind me of The Road.

7.25/10

Hard to believe she goes home to Michael Jackson's homeboy Macaulay Culkin every night.

Was persuaded to buy This Is It today. I loved MJ as a kid(though not literally) and still love some of the music. But my god was he a fruit loop. At one stage he was wearing 3 different shirts all at once!

Its all rehearsals and yet there are times where he is wearing a gold jacket and pants. That basically means that morning he got up put gold pants on, walked down to the kitchen, sat and ate breakfast then checked his mail all the while wearing gold pants. At one stage my wife was picturing herself in some of his clothes...

Hardly a ground breaking opinion but no less true.

Wolfman - Anthony Hopkins, Benicio del Toro

I so wanted to like this (or at least it be a good film) like a good werewolf film (terrified myself with The Howling as a youngster) but this was rubbish, even the trailers were average, but I thought maybe it will be good. 3.5/10

Ahh The Howling. Man I loved that film (probably terrible to go back and watch now). Used to be on the previews of all the VHS rentals we used to get.

I concur. When they are walking through the english country side at night in the beginning and the brilliant FX when changing into the Werewolf are highlights.

Unthinkable; Samuel L Jackson, Carrie Moss.

Based around Jackson who is some super top secret fella that is the best at extracting information from people.

Story is a bit blah, I think they get tied up in the moral issue of a fella's human rights vs those of the millions he could potentially kill
Ha ha. Watched The Goonies this weekend as well. One of the HD cable channels was showing it as a 25th year special. I caught it as it started, and watched through. Probably the first time I have seen it in over 15 years. Was still a fun watch.

The best thing about The Goonies is the kids get to be kids. Like it or not 12-13 year olds swear and make jokes about sex they haven't had yet. Kids make fun of the fat kid, PC be damned.

Watched John Travolta and Robin Williams in Old Dogs on the weekend . Just drifted a bit at times but the funny bits were really funny . Very watchable 7/10.
