Star Wars - which one, Phantom Menace or Last Jedi...
Nice use of the quote function, amateur!

If we are basing our top 10 on films we happily watch again and again? Some films as good as they are just aren’t the type of film you watch over and over again
Star Wars ( doing a @Hooroo and lumping then together)
Raiders
Jaws
LOTR
Deadpool
Logan
Anything with Jennifer Lawrence in it, probably Silver Linings Playbook
Super 8 ( touches the nostalgia with Speilberg films of the 80s.
I’m sure there’s more just can’t think of them at the moment.

@Nepia Pulp Fiction would be up there as one of my all time favourites, and I used to watch Swingers a lot
I know people rate it, but every time I've gone to watch it, my attention has drifted off to something else.

Do you like other Tarantino films or were you meaning Swingers?

Swingers. I'm a huge fan of Pulp Fiction.

Ah right, I think it might be a film of its era, and if you try watching it outside of that time for a first time it might not work as well. It was cool in the 90s.

As a single guy at the time it struck a chord. John Favreau and Vince Vaughn before they were famous. So many iconic moments for me. But you might have to have been there

Doug Liman was the director too, I generally like most of his movies.

I can't really think of a top 5 outside of the Godfather as number one for eternity, but Platoon was on it for a long time as it was my come home drunk and watch movie, then True Romance which replaced it in that role. So not too movie snobby.
I consider this to be a Tarantino movie and it's the best of the lot.
The Usual Suspects would be in my top 5 but I'd have to think about the others.

When I first saw it, I hated it, now I love it. Better to watch being a bit older, I found.

It probably tops my Tarantino list if it's considered one of his films, but I think there's too much of Scott's direction in it to be solely considered a Tarantino film.

@Nepia Agree, but part of the Tarantino family of movies. Some of my favourite movies have been directed by Ridley or Tony Scott.
Yeah the Scott brothers have produced some good stuff, although, I know Ridley is the 'cooler' movie buff director to like, but I actually prefer Tony's stuff on the whole. I'm not a huge Aliens and Bladerunner fan so that dents Ridley a bit for me even though he's directed lots of films I really like - Blackhawk Down, Gladiator, The Martian, American Gangster, Black Rain etc.
