Yes, if Netflix has it available immediately.

S8 of The Blacklist completed. Sometimes I wonder why I have continued with a show that has aired longer than it needed to.
Yeah, about eight seasons...

S8 of The Blacklist completed. Sometimes I wonder why I have continued with a show that has aired longer than it needed to. The answer is always James Spader. While we have finally got answers to many of the questions about the main characters not everything was revealed. At least the season ended on a positive note.
Yeah - it's been a guilty (super guilty, I could feel braincells dying at times) pleasure of mine for a while... finished S8 months ago, and then my sister contacted me the other day saying she'd just finished it (I guess it's only just become available on NZ Netflix?).
I'd completely forgotten what happened, and had to read a review to remind myself. That's how much it impacted me.
The one thing I did remember - was that the 2nd or 3rd -to-last episode was an extremely lazy mish-mash of flashbacks and exposition in an lazy and incoherent attempt to "wrap everything up".But yeah, James Spader - even dialling in a version of his Boston Legal best - still made the show

This looks good!
Production level on Apple stuff looks first class

Another Life on Netflix.
Lame writing and acting and obviously trying for the Guinness Book of Records for Most Clichés in a TV series". Bailed after 10 minutes of episode 2
Truly dire shit.
I’m a huge sci fi nerd and love Katee Sackhoff. I hate watched the first season, but couldn’t make it through the first episode of season2. Looks like the final season and they wrap the story up.
But who cares?

Counterpart
Into ep. 4 of the first series. Might just be the best thing I've watched for years.

Great show, but just as an FYI, the show got cancelled after S2.

ZeroZeroZero
Has anyone else watched this? A fortune was spent on the series as it was filmed on location in the USA, Italy, Mexico and Africa.
As this is an Italian production the series might be too slow for some as scenes are allowed to develop and breathe. It's got a lot of similarities to Traffic with multiple storylines that are intertwined. In this instance the production, transport and distribution of cocaine. Based on a book by the same author who wrote Gomorrah.

it was on sbs here in Oz, on my list but haven't got to it yet.. would be good to hear thoughts on this as well

@bayimports I enjoyed it. Only 8 episodes so not a huge investment of your time. Just be aware that all scenes in Italy and Mexico have subtitles.

The Chestnut Man
Danish crime mystery on Netflix. In the same sort of vein as True Detective but with a Scandi-noir feel.
Worth the watch if you're into this genre and foreign language shows. Especially if you liked The Bridge.

Saw most of it. Very nihilistic.
Couldn't sympathize much because they were all criminals. -
dont think anyone has posted this...

@mariner4life Yeah, the Expanse can be very slow, especially in the middle of a season, and they often cram all the plot in the last two episodes. It's okay overall though, and I find most TV series unmatchably dull now.
