    @Cyclops I think the line-up against the Highlanders will give a better indication of whether that's the case. As Brad Mooar said before the game, they used this game to give opportunities to several rookies. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they're going to rotate Jordan and Havili.

    Is Will Jordan now the number one fullback for the Crusaders?

    Let’s not get carried away now. Havili still first choice. Reads the game very well.

    The added bonus we have is that with Havili and Ennor in the XV we can select a specialist outside back on the bench (ie Jordan).

    @ACT-Crusader

    Disagree. They'll rotate them a bit. But Will Jordan is the better player already of the two: faster, stronger, better hands.

    Havili could be useful on the bench since he covers several positions. The Crusaders are blessed with good players, this is a kind of problem the other franchises would probably like to be embarrassed with.

    So the oil out of the Chiefs camp is that the senior players are less than thrilled with Cooper and that there is a disconnect between the two. This comes as no surprise to anyone though.

    @Hooroo

    I suspect the man the Chiefs players would love to be coached by is Dave Rennie, but he just signed a contract extension.

    Sounds like Hammett may need to come in and clear out some of the senior players.

    Absolutely primed for a Hammett intervention.

    Even better, we might lure Scott Robertson home with the promise of Chiefs games at Blake Park and a post match surf at Clyde Street.

    Hammett is only brought in to destroy teams and stop them making finals.

    Oh I haven't. But look, Chiefs are a mess already, that's not a job for Hammett.

    They still have BBBR, DMac, ALB and Cane in the team, moving them to other franchises is a job for Hammett.

    Think we need to start a Hammett for Chiefs campaign.

    BBBR and Cane can bolster the Canes pack (it's a natural fit for Cane in particular).

    DMac can head north to try and fill the hole Spencer left at 10.

    ALB could make a go of things at the Highlanders, try and get a few more "names" instead of "no-names" on their roster.

    @No-Quarter it will be an awesome contest between the two giants Blackwell and BBBR for starting spot at the Canes. The Wellingtonian will probably have the edge.

    TBF, a Magpies lock is going to struggle to even get a contract at the Canes, BBBR to the Highlanders I guess.

    If you Chiefs boys want Hammer you'd better get a move on - before the ABs get their hands on him! 🙂
