@westcoastie 180 after 30 would be plenty, and we are on track for thatbat 58 after 10

This would be a great start if we were setting a total...

It's a great start regardless. Preserve wickets, score at 5.5 an over or so for another 10-15 overs and then up the scoring in the final 20 overs.

Yep - Macca just outlining the exact strategy. Turn it into a T20 if we can.

Pretty harsh to put the boot into Timmy's bowling career. He's pretty much made the most of what he's got. Given the start he had to his test batting career, his batting stats have been a bit disappointing.

But, he's getting to the stage of being a squaddie in all forms.
    Boult, Wagner, Ferguson in tests.
    Boult, Ferguson, Henry in ODIs.
Boult, Ferguson and someone (probably still Tim) in T20s.

@Chris-B bit early to call Ferguson a preferred test bowler given how his only chance to date went.

@Hooroo could be πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ. I've been running with The Park Cricketer, but no doubt there is a better name/accronym our there somewhere!

The ACC coined him The Minute Piece as when interviewed by them they asked of he compared downstairs to The Hairy Javelin and his response was that he had a minute piece.

First wicket... should be due to lose a couple more and then have the wheels fall off.

Screw this. I'm changing my forecast.

We got this. We got this EASY.

I'm predicting a 6 wicket win from here, with 9 balls to go.

Anything less will be a disappointment.

One more and we're fucked. Don't want to be negative, but it feels like we've seen this before...

Still though, no more wickets, score 50 in the next 11. Leaves us 190 off 20. Nicholls and Taylor should be set.
    But we'll see I guess.

I have zero faith in Taylor to bring this home.
