@Nepia that's funny because it's actually pretty damn true!
Pre March 20, I would bemoan how backward this joint is, now it's bloody bonza!!I was supposed to be taking my first trip for work to Adelaide this month, sadly not happening now. My colleague who has been has said it makes Perth look busy, I found Perth to be so sleepy, and a lot like NZ, that it felt Hastings-Napier size rather than Auckland size.
If you check out the wine district along the way your worries will soon fade away.
I don't drink wine, and I was looking forward to visiting Adelaide so wasn't worried in the slightest
Wasn't specifically reacting to CV, more just noting that Adelaide, whilst quiet, has an excellent wine district for those who partake.
Lovely cricket ground.
As an aside, their accents are the most like Kiwi's in Oz -- although never been to Tas.

Sounds like the government keeping justification for delay in their back pocket. I will farken scream if rule breakers stop us from getting to level 2.

I haven't noticed that when chatting with the SA based staff, but thats only ever been on Zoom/phone and I'm not sure if they're all originally from SA.

No surprise. Air con turned down since smoking banned.
Have heard that before and it is a myth as far as I know. I'm not old enough to have flown when smoking was allowed but air quality in aircraft is significantly better, with filters improving over the years (and no smoking of course). Aircraft air is refreshed every 2 to 3 minutes.
There is a lot of bullshit out there about it and the only real complaint is about humidity, but the 787 even has humidifiers so even that is improving.
This is pretty good although the last comment isn't true for Airbus (the flight deck gets air directly from the pack, not recirculated).
This is why you might get a cold:
"None of this is disputing that people don’t occasionally become unwell from flying. While the air is clean, the dryness is bad for sinuses and can break down mucous barriers, making it easier to catch what bugs might be present. Usually, though, it’s not what passengers are breathing that makes them sick. It’s what they are touching: lavatory door handles, contaminated trays and armrests, etc." -

Interestingly I reckon there is something in that accent thing.
It wasn't till moving to Qld and getting used the the Qld twang that I started hearing/noticing the Nuzillid eccent. Never noticed while exposed to the SA accent.

They do say 'dan se' the Aussie way, but seemed very similar, at least in 1988 when I had my sole visit!

@canefan they could always open regions and leave the naughty ones at L3...
In Wuhan if a case was found the whole area (suburb?) was closed for two weeks other than to buy essential supplies.

amusing to hear Bloomfield thank the Media for asking the hard questions...I bet he wanted to say for the moronic ones too!
-
@taniwharugby Smart lot that media, always asking the probing questions...
There's a valid question about how many days of 0 new cases is mission accomplished, but it's probably more than 1 day...

Haha, a friend's FB post...
