So as I’ve been going to work this is the first real day of isolation for me.
Seems sweet
Had crumpets For breakfast so I’m immune Now right?
Plenty of jobs Needed doing round the house that I can ignore.
Junk tv
Gonna make baguettes later. Or not there’s plenty of time -
Wow...from Northland Police
Hi Northlanders – here’s our report card after the first couple of days of lockdown:
-
We are pleased that most people are following the Government advice and are staying home
-
There are always a few who put the rest of us at risk. Here’s a few of the bad behaviours we have seen, that are putting the health of others at risk:
-
Tuesday night, learner driver SH1, 175km/h “I was going for one last drive”. Yeah right, it could have been the last thing you ever did
-
Thursday and Friday – far too many people out for a drive with kids and partners. Just being nosey, and risking catching and/or spreading coronavirus
-
Thursday afternoon - motorbike riders in Kaitaia and Whangarei with no helmets, and speeding. If the virus doesn’t kill you your own actions might
-
Thursday evening – a fatal crash on the Oakleigh-Paparoa Road near Whangärei. Sadly this was not a necessary journey during level 4 lockdown
I’m giving Northland a rating of 7/10 so far.

@canefan that's what I thought...surely the freezer will sort that covid-19...
I read somewhere that similar types of viruses can survive 2 to 3 months in the freezer...

The number of SUPs and kayaks on the estuary is pissing me off

So significantly better behaviour than a normal week in Northland. Well done up there!

I100% support police actions in dealing with fuckfaces who cannot understand the extremely simple instruction to stay home. They'll be a lot kinder than I would.
I think they are being far too kind. 4 weeks in lock up and a big fine or confiscate vehicle feels like bare minimum
