Can mention him as much as he likes, and I can comment on those mentions just as often 🙂

@Kirwan was it last year or the year before when he fumbled a high ball and the opposite team scored and cost them the game. Can't remember the opposite team.

Crusaders? That one where he dived for the ball and missed by two metres, but had a nice view of the try?

    So many to choose from.

in all fairness, blues fans blaming one player for loosing any games in the decade before this season is a bit rich, not exactly world beaters in general

The point is he stood out as being particular poor amongst that group.

    Highlanders starting fullbacks in 2020

    McKay (twice)
Collins (this will be his 4th start)
    Koroi
    Gregory

It seemed they had moved on from Collins but had to revert. The coaches had signalled they were going to go with Hunt before Ioane got injured.

Nehe should be available soon and they'll be tempted to put him at 15

Oh we blamed the CEO (gone), the board (mostly gone), coaches (gone or demoted), selections (of which Collins was an issue) and several other factors (talent scout, for example, also gone).

That's why the Blues turnaround has been so satisfying, seeing the changes made and the obvious improvements.

So Collins as a reason was four/five levels deep in our blame game.

But in a shower of shit, it takes talent to shine.

i hope so, if fit, a genuine class option at the back so we can concentrate on the other issues we have in our backline...like right wing

I hope he gets a good run without injury, he was so good in 2015.

@KiwiMurph I know you'd love to read more into it, but he's being rested, just like Bryn Hall.

I don't understand why they have named both Gatland and Koroi on the bench. Don't they - more or less - play in the same positions (10/15)?

Koroi is a wing/fullback and looking at the team Punivai and Collins would be midfield cover.

Agreed. Havili doesn't have a reputation for communicating. So the Highlanders backline will be responsive and fluid to opportunities where the Crusaders will have tunnel vision.
