Cane, Whitelock then a toss up between Goodhue and Smith, Goodhue didnt get much chance to do anything going forward but got through some work on defence, wins out over SMith who was good in the 1st half but wasnt as effective in the 2nd, Clarke clearly the best wing out there today for us

Speaks volumes about Bridge's performance that Clarke is going to be in the top three for this poll.

Looking at the votes so far, it’s nice to know we have a few AB family members on the Fern...

I never knew Akira Ioane was a ferner, nice of him to vote for little bro, that’ll help the confidence

    Cane, Smith, Moody

Thought Whitelock did well, plus Clarke and Sotutu off the bench.

Cane, Smith and DMac for me ... just rewatched the first half and he saved our bacon a bunch of times so he gets a vote and the haters can hate.

Clarke went well but he was on the field a short amount of time and his error was huge, it was through luck it didn't cost us the game.

Im not buying the Smith love. He's awesome, and has been incredible in SRA this year, but I dont think he was great tonight. His passing was pretty slow

He served up a try to Daugunu though. So many guys that played really well but made crucial mistakes.

Went with Ofa, Whitelock, Cane. Was struggling for the third though (Ofa).

Agree with this, some just get their mistakes focussed on more than others, hater. 😉

I may have overlooked Whitelock's shift as he was just getting on with his job where as Patty T was being rocks and diamonds.

Whitelock put in a typical Whitelock performance. Unfortunately, we didn't have Brodie there doing Brodie things with him

Anyone not voting for Cane can GTFO.

I'm shocked that Moody doesn't have more votes. He was a machine on defence today. I would like to see more run metres out of him and Ofa, but since we hardly had the fucking ball, I can't really blame them for that.

After that, I think we have multiple options - from his very brief body of work, I think Clarke showed he belongs at this level and can be a weapon. Terrible selecting is the only thing him not starting showed.

Good point. It was actually annoying how little we used our muscle throughout the match to carry. I'm sure Whitelock had about 5 times as many carries as Pat T, which is just arse about face. I thought we actually started to use our forwards much better after the 80th minute, but even then we did the idiotic thing of giving the ball to Karl for the carry instead of someone better suited for it.

the problem is, more than half of our selected forwards are actually no good at carrying in to the teeth. We are relying on too few to do the heavy lifting. 3 of the 4 props, 1 80 minute lock, and two of the loose forwards are next to useless if you are trying to smash your way through the gain line.

That is a major problem if we want to see our ABs take it up the guts then!! We had a notable lack of penetration in the forwards yesterday
