She is one of the most disliked Dem politicians I have ever seen.
You only have to look at her demeanor to see why.
Gabbard shreds her at 3.50. -

It's not hard to track down the origInal video on CNN
He stumbles a couple of times and certainly isn't the great communicator but it 100% shows that twitter tape as a total fabrication. It has no resemblance to the actual tape
In your haste to defend Biden, you didn't notice that he has a different tie on from that fucked up rambling in that Twitter video. The video Kirwan linked is correct and accurate.

She and Biden have been exposed to the realities of illegal immigration and seems to be floundering. It's all very well sounding virtuous and getting plaudits from inside your party for calling out Trump's policy, but it seems they didn't bother to do the very basic stuff, like actually think things thru.
It's a real mess and makes you worry that some of the other policy stuff they are pushing thru is is equally well-thought out.
In the Trump era the Democrats became the party of kindness to illegal immigrants. Genuine horror at the suffering of poor people flocking to the US from desperate places to the south led them to offer up any number of hostages to fortune. Biden promised to suspend deportations of child asylum seekers and to offer free health care. It felt to many Democrats as if this civilised approach was the minimum the party could do: others wanted to go further and welcome millions of undocumented people. Now in power, they have been taken at their word. Which made Harrisâs first trip abroad, to Guatemala and Mexico last weekend, something of a disaster. President Giammattei of Guatemala set out the widespread frustration south of the border at what is seen as the reckless naivety of the new White House occupants. âThe message [under the Biden administration] changed to, âWe are going to reunite families and we are going to reunite childrenâ,â he told a TV interviewer. âThe very next day the coyotes [people-smuggling gangs] here were organising groups of children to take them to the United States.â It got worse. Harris, spooked it seemed by what she was being told, made a blunt public statement that horrified the left of her party back home: âDo not come. Do not come. The United States will continue to enforce our laws and secure our borders,â she said at a press conference alongside Giammattei. âIf you come to our border, you will be turned back.â

I know that Iâm the odd one out. No need to make me look bad.

@kirwan My bad. I went to CNN and searched for the clip. I got one result which from the byline :"When will children under 12 be able to get vaccinated? seemed to be the one.
Wasn't trying to defend Biden, the guy was always clearly at least a decade but his sell by date. Just so suspicious of anything like these sort of clips - particularly out of the US that I guess I default to it's a fraud.
So much fake news from every side and people quoting experts who are anything but I guess I'm too cynical.

@frank Trump carries a lot of baggage but plenty of time for the current administration to similarly fuck off the electorate.
Would be nice to see a 2024 race between two sane, measured candidates who had real policies and who wouldn't polarise the nation.

As Kamala Harris is likely to be the Dem candidate, I'm not holding my breath...

Trump wins the nomination easily if he wants it.
Can't see him being re-elected though.Who are options?
Ron De Santis?
Ted Kruz?
Dan Crenshaw?
Nikki Haley? That's about the sum total of Republicans I can name ...

Doesn't have to be someone that is a name, look at Obama for example.

Thanks. I needed a laugh.
You'd probably stand a better chance of a unicorn and the Loch Ness monster running for president in 2024...
