Perhaps at ay other time but when you've just sacked your Chief of Staff 6 months into the job you don't want to be sacking his successor just days into the job.
Or do you?

i dunno. a communications director who (presumably? mistakenly / could be drunkenly?) goes on-record with a left leaning reporter slagging not only the guy getting sacked, but bannon too? sucking his own cock?
not only is his behaviour just incredibly inappropriate, it is incompetent in the absolute extreme in several ways specific to his job.
unless of course it was deliberate/planned, in which case there are 2 options - deliberate with trump's consent, or deliberate just by scaramucci himself - which have different implications. that's all a bit conspiracy theory for me though - evidence right now points to him just being a fucking idiot. -
@reprobate
You could easily be right in any of those assumptions and I agree that none of them is a good look. Strangely though I find none of it surprising. -

Surely that's a joke? If he won he'd be in his eighties during his presidency.

The Publicly Available Evidence Doesn’t Support Russian Gov Hacking of 2016 Election
Three days ago, the Washington Post ran this article by Philip Bump — “Here’s the public evidence that supports the idea that Russia interfered in the 2016 election”.
This gist of the article was, since we can’t know what the classified evidence is that supports the U.S. government’s finding in favor of Russian government intereference, there is plenty of public evidence which should convince us.
Bump is wrong about that. The public evidence isn’t enough to identify Russian government involvement, or even identify the nationality of the hackers involved. That doesn’t mean that the Russian government isn’t responsible. It means that we don’t know enough to say who is responsible based solely on the publicly known evidence, including classified evidence that’s been leaked.
Here’s a recap:
Dems have been awfully-awfully quiet about Rooskiegate the past couple weeks, and not just because of calls to subpoena leading Dems for their own Rooskie collusion, and not just because Debbie Wasserman' Schultz is in a mountain of hurt with her own foreign-cyber scandal ready to explode, and not just because Hillary has a new book coming out titled "What Happened," but much more probabaly because the most pathetic witch-hunt of our lifetimes still can't find jackshit.
Anyway, some more good background for those looking to scrapbook the greatest political hoax of the past 15 years and anybody curious:
Intel Vets Challenge ‘Russia Hack’ Evidence
Consortium News / July 24, 2017
In a memo to President Trump, a group of former U.S. intelligence officers, including NSA specialists, cite new forensic studies to challenge the claim of the key Jan. 6 “assessment” that Russia “hacked” Democratic emails last year.
MEMORANDUM FOR: The President
FROM: Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS)
SUBJECT: Was the “Russian Hack” an Inside Job?
Executive Summary
Forensic studies of “Russian hacking” into Democratic National Committee computers last year reveal that on July 5, 2016, data was leaked (not hacked) by a person with physical access to DNC computers, and then doctored to incriminate Russia.

JK Rowling has really stepped into it this past weekend. Overly melodramatic dummy-spit, idiotically stupid, shameless and unapologetic. Another casualty of Trump-Derangement-Syndrome (TDS), she's doing everything she can to get Trump re-elected. The longer she stays mum and won't 'fess up, the more this is going to be played in American media and Trump looks like a HERO.
-
@Salacious-Crumb That rant could have used some substance or context. I guess you're referring to this?
-
JK Rowling is the ultimate virtue signaler. She takes it to the next level.

Politicon is on at the moment. Ben Shapiro (Daily Wire) is taking on Cenk Oygur (Young Turks network). I am expecting a bloodbath. Will watch it delayed tonight. Shapiro is something special debating.. and Cenk...well Cenk is stupid enough to go again Shapiro publicly with all the logic of a SJW loony leftist. Can't wait!
-
@Rembrandt Speaking of which:
-
Even CNN was appalled at Rowling.
CNN's Brian Stelter tweeted her and said: 'Why hasn't @JK_rowling corrected her bogus tweets about this?'

how does someone else doing something stupid, or being wrong about something then not correcting it make trump look like a "HERO"?
he does exactly that sort of thing all the time. -
@reprobate I guess it's an eye of the beholder type of thing.

Shapiro was meant to be good at this right? I think he got slapped around. He's interesting, but sounds like a 3rd year commerce student. What the fuck is he going on about with healthcare?
He brings up Japan, but he doesn't know what the fuck he is going on about - it's a great system - it's incentivized by making people pay a certain percentage (in my case, 30%) whenever you get sick. However, if you are lucky (which I am), then your work will cover any major costs. Or, you can get private insurance (which my wife has) which covers the extra stuff when shit happens (as it did last year when she needed voluntary surgery).
So, you're disincentivized to use it too much (but if you're rich or can afford extra insurance, you can fully take advantage, particularly of the dental) but if you're poor, you get care - fantastic care too, btw. It's honestly fantastic. And, I would know, as does my co-worker who has recently been diagnosed with colon cancer and is getting brilliant care. Btw, he's American, but can't go home to take advantage of the 'five-year cancer survivor rate' in the US. Why? Because, he's got an existing condition and doesn't have US insurance. In my case, I could have gone home to get treated (but decided not to, because the treatment is better her), but because he doesn't live there, but he can't go back because he makes too much money here (and therefore has to file tax returns) so isn't available for any help when he goes home. He's worried about
I thought both guys were dicks about taxes and wages. They started out being pretty good, but both got pouty and annoying at that time.
Shapiro is a full market economy guy yeah? I agree with his point about the government not backstopping businesses (they shouldn't) but his solution is no oversight at all? Um, ok. Overall, I think the young Turk guy made the better arguments. Shapiro has to fall back on 'it's a free country and I can spend my money wherever I damn well please'.
The last part of identity stuff was when Shapiro was at his best, but even then he had to admit that the GOP rolled out the southern strategy. Is he better on his other stuff?

he does exactly that sort of thing all the time.Simple (but try to follow along...):
Rowling quotes Maya Angelou: "When someone shows you who they are, believe them."
And what did Trump's awful, loathsome, deplorable behaviour here show? It shows him entering the room and going straight to the disabled child. He crouches down and leans toward him. We don't know what he says, but he appears to withdraw for a brief second addressing the parent's permission, then gets straight back into the crouch and connects with the child.
It's the EXACT OPPOSITE of Rowling's howler.
It's getting blown up virally and shown on TV repeatedly. Look at the optics.
It makes Rowling look an unghinged chump, and Trump look like an in-control champ.
Repeating: When someone shows you who they are, believe them.
