This thread is totally polarised. It has now become the thread of who shouts louder. Please tell me what your point is in regard to this post because I want to know but I just don't see it.
You dont see the point of that video??? Seriously?

Cato, I generally love your work, but that's way out of order. Firstly, anybody has the right and opportunity to refute anything written here. I don't recall you complaining about the thread being polarised when Gollum was slagging off other posters. Secondly, you and I had a lengthy exchange on precisely the topic Frank's video applies to, i.e. the integrity and professionalism of the press. Surely that's self-explanatory.

I don't really like the whole undercover gotcha journalism thing. Seems a bit dodgy. I don't have much of an issue with what that guy says in the first part of the video. It is just his honest personal opinion. Where I take issue with the other part of the series is where they demonstrate dishonesty at CNN in the most stark fashion. CNN is no longer a real news network. It is an arm of the political left.

Trump has officially driven some Democrats crazy.

For those posters moaning about moderation in this thread being 'uneven'. You dont see all the posts that are deleted, so you are talking out of ignorance.

I love it. The paradigm has shifted and the bullies are getting a serve.

Look at the number of likes under that particular Trump tweet. It hit the spot.
Remember this "art". Theater in New York depicting the assassination of
Trump (was supposed to be Caesar-yeah right). Co-sponsored by, among others, NY Times and Time-Warner (CNN parent company)
Fuck you media.America has elected the honey badger.

Meanwhile what is Trump doing to get his big promises through the legislature?
The 3 biggest ones were: healthcare, a wall and some sort of massive government intervention in international trade (yuck)
Health care is stalling because of Republican holdouts (who are on the correct side IMO). Trumps negotiations with them has gone nowhere and the bill is at risk of not passing.
Normally a President in this situation would make his argument in public and apply pressure to the holdouts.
I think he had a window to do that after the Dems had backed away from the Russia probe (see Schumers comments two weeks ago) and CNN had been chastened by a series of negative stories.
But instead no pressure is being applied because no one is talking about the bill
Or has he admitted defeat and wants a diversion? Terrible for Trump either way.The Wall? No money from Congress = No Wall.
Where's the President using the bully pulpit? Has he admitted defeat (this year at least) on this?Government intervention in trade? Barely worth mentioning because nothing like this seems to be even close to being discussed by Congress (good, hopefully he forgets about this)
I don't have an issue with most of the attacks on the media. However this last week has been counter productive. He needed to get the public putting pressure on his own party.
He desperately needs legislative wins before everyones eyes start drifting to the 2018 mid terms -

He already got one Supreme Court justice nominated and passed. If he does nothing else in his 1st term, that's yuuuuge.
(Plus another one SCJ on the way...)
And same day libs and media were freaking out about his nasty, horrible deplorable mean tweet to Mika, boo-hiss, he got the so-called "Muslim ban" upheld and passed "Kate's Law." These are two things that Dems and media would have been fixated on and freaking out -- but it got barely a peep of mention, because he had those same unhinged lunatics careening into brick walls with his red-laser-light-pointer cat-toy with their freaking out about their poor victim cohort media celebrities Joe & Mika. Now, he couldn't have done that on purpose, could he?
The Art Of Distraction. It's clearly successful, because even you didn't notice it.

Brian Stelter is so clueless he probably never heard of Wrestlemania, let alone knew Trump participated in at least one.

My post was about his lack of legislative success on his big issues. You counter with nothing on that topic
