@Salacious-Crumb
I disagree.
I think Mueller achieved a stoking of the impeachment fire while simultaneously avoiding questioning from Republicans in Congress. (well played Bob)
Regardless, I think Pelosi wants to avoid impeachment because she thinks it will be politically disadvantageous bit her left wing base is demanding it. -
Impeachment will be the petard they hoist themselves upon. Hey, it’s their suicide mission - if they want it.

Great move.

Tariffs start at 5% on June 1 and increased in 5% increments to 25% max. until Mexico takes meaningful and effective action.
(BMW just spent 2 billion relocating to Mexico to be within new USMCA rules - lol. Might have to come to America now.....)

...its almost like Mexico is paying for the wall

This idea of Tariffs on Mexico is both simple and brilliant. It will have an immediate effect on illegal border crossings. This tariff hurts the ruling elite who own the companies that import all these goods from Mexico as well as the mulitnationals operating in Mexico.
Watch the problem magically be fixed.

I have a feeling the drug mules will still be crossing.

This idea of Tariffs on Mexico is both simple and brilliant. As an incentive for Mexico to get up off it's arse and do something - yes.
It will have an immediate effect on illegal border crossings. Not sure how this is correlated?

You missed out the US consumer, who actually pays the tariff.Watch the problem magically be fixed. Would be brilliant if it did. You have a deal of confidence there.

Indeed.
Me probably being a little over optimistic, but Mexico, unlike China has fuck all leverage over the US. When corp' interest is harmed, money tends to move into the areas it seemingly didn't want to flow before, like border enforcement. We'll see I guess. -
@antipodean classic! 😁
Now we're back to "only speak, with any certainty, for yourself" theme. Nice👍

The flood of post modernist social justice warriors into left leaning mainstream media is not helping left wing politics that's for sure. They really need to clean house and draw a line in the sand - all of those terms are associated with utter nonsense. If they were serious about stopping the rise of the far right they'd quit with that bullshit. This has also played so easily into Trump's hands - I'd say it is a pretty important piece of the puzzle if you're looking to understand how Trump won.
I asked an American friend of mine - a long-time Democrat - why he voted for Trump.
His answer: " I was tired of constantly hearing about the importance of transgender toilets from our politicians"

Peak Trump Derangement Syndrome seems to have reached.....
*A Chinese-made talking robot of Donald Trump sitting on a gold toilet has become the focal point of anti Trump protests in Trafalgar Square...... the 4.9-metre (16ft) object depicts Trump with his trousers down, tweeting on the toilet, while his long red tie dangles into the bowl.
Its creator, Don Lessem, a dinosaur expert from Philadelphia, travelled to London to mark the robot’s debut at the protests......The robot also makes a farting sound. Lessem said: “The fart we couldn’t get from him so we had to use a generic fart."*

I am noticing a tendency of the large news dailies and nightly network news in USA the past week to focus on the border crisis, and they are calling it a crisis and emergency. Apprehensions alone from the past eight months is greater than the population of the city of Miami. That’s just the ones that get caught. Tariff-war is heating up with Mexico. Media can’t ignore the story any longer, even if Dems would rather they did. This is Trump’s issue and will be the battleground for 2020.
